- Do keep it PG-13 and under. Even though we're all fairly sensible, we still do tend to get carried away, and since I'm sure you all know PG-13 restrictions, I don't have to go into details about that. (And I won't.)
Okay, I know this place can get pretty crazy, and we do have drama sometimes, so I'm not even going to pretend that fighting is COMPLETELY against the rules, but if you're going to fight with another user, try to keep it to a dull roar, and if it gets too bad, then just take it to a PM, please.
Rules on spam and bumping go to each individual thread, that's up to you, but try to keep spam to a minimum at least.
PDAs (Public Displays of Affection) are fine and dandy for some of you, but keep them to a minimum. A peck on the cheek, or even a peck on the lips is okay occasionally but no tonsil hockey please. I cannot stress this enough. Hugs are okay, snuggles are okay as long as you don't get too sappy ( xp ) like I said, a peck on the cheek or a peck on the lips is okay sometimes, just we all know that kind of stuff can get annoying. x_X
DO NOT HARASS OTHER USERS! I cannot stress this enough. If you start bugging a user about something and they ask you to stop, do so. Like I said, I cannot stress this enough. >_<;
NO fighting and NO Drama.
Feel free to PM me on guild matters, but don't go nutty on me and act like I've done some injustice by not noticing. I do plan on keeping a good eye on the guild, and will try to remain patient with other members.
Explanation of the Guild
Well, this guild started as a thread, back in GD, some 2.5 years ago, right when Gaia was getting started. It wasn't started by me, but we'll get to that later. Basically, it started out as "Claim a User" where you could 'claim' any user on Gaia that you wanted, unless they told you not to. Claiming...is a weird thing. Basically, you can either tell everyone your claims, or just keep them to yourself. There is no enslavement or stupid crap involved in claiming. Now, I'm sure a lot of you have seen most of the "Claim a girl/boy/user" stuff on Gaia before, but we were the original incarnate of any of that before it turned into a sexual thing.
After a while, we became a hangout thread, which was around the time I came around. I didn't come around much, though. I posted in it maybe once or twice, and that was about it, but my best friend, Suzie was a big part of it, so I figured if she wanted me to post there sometimes I would. Around that time, CaU, as it came to be known, became a guild, of which the leader was Erinys, my, now, second-in-command. Of course, claiming still went on, but it was done at the second incarnation of the thread, which Valeria made. Around the time it became a guild, I started losing interest in Gaia, and I really didn't hang out anywhere really. I might come on once every few weeks, and look at things there, but I really wasn't too into it. Around Christmas time was when I really made my first big entrance to CaU, when Suzie and me did some Christmas carol thing at the guild.
After a while, CaU lost some of its activity, and that was when I became interested in it. I started hanging out there, and next thing I knew it was my new home. I'd even brought back some of the old sparkle that it had once had, but it didn't last too long. CaU kind of died for a bit, and the two or three regs that were left decided to start posting in the thread to bring back some of the activity, which worked for a while, but once again, we sort of went kaput.
Around that time, we decided to make a new thread, to which I was voted to be the creator of, well that worked for a while, but then we got moved to the chatterbox, which annoyed us, so we went back to the original thread in GD, poked around a bit until we decided to make it a guild again, to which I was voted leader, invited several of the old regs and...well, here we are. As you can see, claiming still goes on, just make sure to do so at the appropriate thread.
