Today i went to a native american sweat ritual and it was amazing and deeply spiritual and i saw amazing things in the granfarthers(Stones used to heat the inside of the lodge) of it was so awsome. i'm just babling now. i just got hom eand i'm very tired. Has anyone else every done somthing out side of the usual spirituality that completly rocked?

Naw, I've never done it, but it seems interesting. Someone else in the guild has, though I don't know if she comes on much anymore.

I WISH I could go to a sweat lodge ritual. I actually have native american blood (not that you'd know looking at my aryan perfection whee xd ). That would be so sweet.

Yes, it would actually be quite interesting. I don't think that there are any around here though, so I'd need to travel a bit to find one.

a friend of my mother's is a shaman and has a lodge on his property. this was actualy my second one. it was AMAZING. I said it before but it was. this was the first time i saw things in the grandfathers, and i got the snot scared out of me cause they're were two people dancing in the middle of the lodge, a man and a woman. i was like le gasp. Becuase they were beutiful.... and i saw me totem and it made me very very happy. and i ditched alot of bagage there cause it wasa helaing sweat. i recomend it to every one. i got my bounce in ma step backs!!!

I've been in one sweat lodge. It is definently an awe-some (hyphanated to show that it's the original definition I'm useing) experiance. I didn't see anything per say, but my spiritual experiances tend to contact me in other ways. But that retreat was also when I met my spirit-uncle. I'm going to have to talk with him soon, it's been a while. I've been busy and I know he has. We really shouldn't be so busy we can't talk though.

i saw things this time. @.@ in the first round i saw a fox woman dancing in native garb and she made peopple smile where ever she went right when badbthings bwere ahppeneing. and in the second tound i saw two people dancing in the center of the lodge with sothing slinking around their feet. this one scared the living bejeeeses out of me so i didn't pay atention.

Sweat lodges are a very intense experince.. I use to do them but it was to much for me so I stick to fire tending now.
