It seems there has been no mention of Mother 3 in the guild so far. So I decided to make a thread, n stuff.
So, have you guys heard about Mother 3 being released in Japan on April 20th? Well there have been hints at a UK release in a Nintendo magazine. So if it doesn't come out in the USA, then it could be imported from UK and it'd be in English. Hopefully, it is released in English sometime because the game is really awesome. My brother played through it and people on Starmen.net clarified everything important so that we understood what the plot was about. From watching my brother play and reading translations and stuff, the game is just wonderful. Some people disliked the ending, but I thought it was okay.
So basically, have you guys heard about it coming out? If so, have you played it or perhaps read up on it? You really should, if you are a fan of Mother 2. You could wait for the UK release if it happens, though. Anyway, go ahead and discuss.

And geeking.
I had a thread with the announcement of it being released in Japan. but i got rid of it, seeing as it had been released, and (at the time) we had no other information on it.
So.

Yea, I really hope it gets translated. Oh yea, I've made five Mother 3 fanart pictures these past two weeks. If you'd like to see them, just check my profile. It's in the about section. :3
So have you guys played the game? At first, I saw my brother play it, but only some parts. So I started playing through it myself, to get the real experience. I'm on chapter 8 so far. The game is even more awesome now that I'm playing through it myself. I'm surprised I've gotten to the final chapter, considering I suck at video games. ^^;

there's a lot of people i've talked to lately that are waiting for it to come out.
It's like they're all closet-worshippers.
Makes me sad that people have to hide their obsession. *Sigh*
They've announced a release in the UK. If they don't release it here, i'll pay the money to import it. it'll be worth it.

This is at least the third cool game the UK's getting that the US may not be. First you guys got Terranigma, then the English version of Shenmue, now this! It's...just...not...FAIR! crying

I would Nerdgasm if Mother 3 was released in english.
I played a rom of it, didnt understand any of it, but it was awesome from what I played (felt like classic Mother gameplay)
