I figured we needed a news post, so here you go The first and foremost thing to be aware of is Phantasy Star Universe. As of yet there is still not much info, but the new EGM that should actually be out already should have some secrets revealed. Judging from what I've seen, it's going to be unique as far as MMORPGs go. It seems to have a linear typical story to play with offline, and yet it does have the usual MMO components. This is just hear-say, and lots of interpretation on my part. The PSU siteThey finally updated the page for the game. Check out the screenshots. I don't get why they're putting this thing on PS2 looking like that, with the next-gens right around the corner. It's also gonna be on PC, which is where I, sad to say, am going to be playing it. Though I'm gonna need a new machine from the looks of it. It's so beautiful..

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. I will be playing it on the PC if I get the chance. Can't wait whee [Edit: Um, corrent me if I'm wrong, but doesnt this look like one of those Closed Beta signup forms? http://phantasystaruniverse.com/special.html It would be sweet if we could sign up and test this thing out, I'd piss myself if I'd get picked for it ^____^;]

In recent news WoW has started server transfers. From highly populated servers such as Warsong and Arthas. To lower populated ones.
In Guild news. The recent addition of Gavriel to the guild has added a +10 to its sessyness. :3

More news:
Soul Calibur III
Anyone who reads Gamepro has probably seen this. Well, anyone who reads any game magazine probably have. Myself, I haven't gotten my EGM yet. Shu told me about the Gamepro thing.
Anyway Soul Calibur III info is out, and the new features include three new chars (whose names I haven't bothered to memorize yet) - a crazy Arab with a scyth, a scary chick with a ring, and some random Japanese girl with a kodachi and umbrella. Oh, and it looks like they're all evil. Fun fun.
Another aspect, which will be the defining moment of glory for the fighting game genre or a dissapointing half gimmick depending on how they do it, is the create-a-character mode. I think that speaks for itself.
As a stark blow to many people (me), SC3 is PLAYSTATION 2 EXCLUSIVE. No Xbox, no Gamecube. Frankly I have played SC2 on PS2, and controlling it made me very sad (GCN controller is a lot better made for it). Well, I played Soul Edge on PS1, Soul Calibur on DC, and Soul Calibur 2 on GCN, so I guess I might as well keep up the system hopping.
Xbox sucks.

Unfortunately the informationI posted regarding PSO Episode V was simply PSOworld's kind way of playing with my mind. Had I bothered to look at the date (April 1st) I probably would have figured it out. But didn't, and feel stupid.
In it's place I bring hearty (nonfalse) news that the game should be released sometime this month. Happy.

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in starting an RP thread in here, since a few of us like rping. If we did, we'd probably need to pick one of these MMORPGs to base it around (I vote PSO), but I do have a little world I like to base rps in, if you'd want to use that. Just getting ideas for now.
