Cy Girls (known as Cool Girls in Japan) was assembled/distributed in the United States by another company bbi, and also by the manufacturer Takara, in Japan. They're some of the nicest 12" figures that I've seen. With generally nice headsculpts and amazingly articulated bodies that make them wonderful action figures.

I got hooked into collecting them last summer because of my boyfriend, and we even did a little company-like thing and sold customized clothes for them on ebay... o_o

I only made one complete outfit, which I was really proud of, for the Cy Girls. It was a navy kimono with a white dragon and lotus print, complete with Obi (the sash including the cushion) and headdress. It's not that great since it was my first custom outfit, but I have a pic of Jun (Princess) modeling it HERE! ^^

My bf has more amazing outfits and pics but I'll let him show them off... I don't want to steal his thunder... xD

I really like Cy Girls, and there are many more that I would like to own, but unfortunately student budgets don't allow me much room for more (I've spent hundreds on the above collection already... o_o)
And I also hope to do more customs in the summer (hopefully I'll have time... ^^; )

I thought I'd make this thread since I didn't see any for Cy Girl figures, and hopefully I will find some fellow Cy Girl collectors/fans/customizers in here! 3nodding

Melonsoda is right... Hobby Link Japan has these Cy Girls for sale... but I haven't been there for a while so I'm not sure what stock they have... They're from Japan, so shipping is a little pricey... (lol, I'm just a poor student... x P)

I used to order mine from ebay sellers. But the availability is a little low (or if not, then the price is probably a little higher) seeing as the company that used to distribute them in the United States, is no longer distributing Cy Girls.

Oh wow, now that BBi stopped producing Takara Cy Girls, the prices have soared to over $100 USD for MIB Cy's... T______T

I have enough money to buy a Pullip... I wonder if I should get a Pullip or maybe try to get another Cy Girl... >_<"
