for all you atrsal projectors and people like that...does this quilify as some sort of sin...
my friend and i were doing a working together that involved astral work. at the time my familar was still ahnging around and he is a strange cat man, his name is sam(not his real name cuase its ridiculusly long and hard to say). any way...he's sitting to the left of us and were doign our thing and playing with the energy to weave this charm for a friend. and all of a suden Sam plcuks one of those demented fairies that laugh creepily out of the air and eats it. I get so weirded out and surprised that bam back in the body and lying on the ground. my friend, leans over and goes, "what...they taste like mountain dew and dorritios...."
Its a SIN I TELL YOU A SIN! >.<

Well, my astral experience is quite very limited, but I could try and give my opinion nonetheless. First off, as for the 'sin' part, are we looking at it as a 'sin' in the concept of the Christian belief, or just something bad? If we're looking through the Christian beliefs, than the whole voyage is a sin. However, if it's just something wrong to do, it all depends on the nature of these 'fairies'. Are they actual sentient beings, or are they simply forms of energy floating about? If they are energy, then I don't see a problem. If they are beings, well, then I'm not sure. If astral beings act in a similar way to nature (as in hunt) then I don't see a major problem, being that you're familiar is simply following his nature.
Well, I don't know if this made any sense, but I hope it did help somewhat.

What disturbed me was my firends coment afterwards. it just seemed wrong O.o lo land i mean sin as a bascialy bad.... I'm not used to using proper termonology and I forget online^.^ i'm not sure if they are sentient or not, i'mnot in tune with faries and veiw them as things that go skitering and hopping around and tend to startle me like when a bug goes flying by to fast (i'm extremly skitish like that) its somthing i'm use to seeing now becuase it does work like nature. i still don't think its right for my friend to know what farie things taste like.....realy i don't. astral projestion is the only thing i'm good at @.@

I dont' have much to say, other than that was an odd experience...
... and when you mentioned your familiar Sam plucking the fairies I couldn't help get a picture of WellThen out of my head... that was disturbing. He doesn't eat fairies. I don't think.

LOL. I let my familiar read this over my shoulder and she started laughing SO HARD!(She's a dragon) Then she says not to worry. {Perhaps Sam just grabbed his (your friends) body to try and calm you down. Or yor friend tried something while you were OB. And what sam ate was a nymph. Fea-peoples taste like lizard and try to beat you up afterward. sweatdrop I should know. I did that once whee .} Anyway that was Fire's(my familiars) say on that. 3nodding

HAha its fine for sam...but my friend avidly claims they taste like mountain dew and doritios... i don't think an earth witch should eat faries...lol. i miss my familars...they both sorta left a while ago. =(

oh sam kinda went off...hes been whish me since he was a kiten...so hes doing his thing... and Fiddle the raven guy left on halloween...least i think he did... and he might be back...h ehas an odd way of being invisivble liek that.
i have a trinket he cahrged for me and when i was tinkering with my alter i noticed it was mega cahrged...and it like i can feel him...but not all of him, like theirs no consciuse with it any more.... and its worriyng me o.O
