A towering mountain peak that looms over the north side of the city of Gellos. Supposedly strange magical entities lurk within the mountains, and strange creatures live atop the peak. The magical energy of the place could prove disastrous to a warrior, or it could prove a great advantage.

Moving toward the peak Godric began to speak in a tongue that must have been his native, for it was only comparable to the sound of rocks tumbling against each other. In reality it was a prayer, for Ultima Peak was a place of great power that both Godric and Lanthanos took great care to revere.
Clouds in the sky forbode of rain, or possibly even snow, one could never tell near this mountain. Godric waited at the foot of the mountain, looking upon the paths leading away from Gellos, hoping that the elementalist Trip would follow his own path north.

"That old man better not have been lying about the town being to the south, or he'll regret it. Easiest way to find out is from that vantage point. I should be able to see for miles around from up there."
Mouse had reached the base of the north side of the peak in the early hours of the morning and slowly begun snaking his ascent upwards along whatever path he could find. His appearance and energy were quickly dwindling back to his normal form, but without taking time away from his hunt there was little to be done about that.

Seeing the being pass by, Godric did a double take. It looked almost like Mouse, but not quite. Quickly he ran down the foot hills to call out to the being. "Pardon me sir, but I can't help but feel that I have met you before."
Smiling, Godric stared upon the man, it looked like a worn out and withered version of Mouse, but the smell was different, very different. Not human, but not elementalist either. It was almost like a demon, but not even quite like that.

"I don't see how that's possible considering I've only just arrived here..."
Distactions from his hunt were one thing, however a chance to feed again isn't something he would pass up now. Yet when he turned to get a good look at the one who stopped him...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Who I am is a shamble of what I was. I used to be more powerful than this, but I will have my old powers back yet. I am ..., the Earth Demon, my powers are similar to your own, and for good reason. But, you will not have to worry about that much longer. Pass over your powers peacefully, and you may yet survive the extraction."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"...but for some reason, I too share that same familiarity for some reason. How odd."
Stunned slightly by the vision and the figure before him, Mouse gripped his crook slightly more tightly. He hadn't a clue what to expect, but it appeared feeding was going to be a bit more difficult, if it all possible.

"Hehe," Godric laughed, it was Mouse, or at least his reincarnation and that was good. But the man seemed to not have any of his old powers, he was a completely different person. Seeing this man reach for his crook, Godric smiled at him.
"Are you the one who was once know as Darius Arthur Mouse?" Looking at the man and assessing what he would be capable of, Godric found himself puzzled, Mouse appeared weak and frail, even more so than your average human. A fight between the two of them would be harsh, but Godric had confidence that this man was merely a shadow of what Mouse had been, not even worth the challenge of taking down.

Mouse's eye narrowed, puzzled on how this stranger knew to address him.
"I know not of whom you speak. Why do you ask?"
Mouse took note of being sized up and the smug expression across the demon's face. It appeared as though the demon had already determined the victor. The fool. Such overconfidence was easily preyed upon. Mouse donned his own grin in response and raised his eye to match the demon's.

Turning his back on Mouse Godric began to walk away from him. "You lie, but that doesn't concern me right now. You are the least of my worries at this point, for I still wait in patience for those who have what I seek, and you lost that which I seek when Gaia was destroyed. You are of no more interest to me, so go away now, before I am forced to take measures beyond your expectation."
Godric cared not for a fight with Mouse, his mood was still sour from earlier, and the visitor did not make him feel much better. A fight betwixt these two had no purpose to it, and Godric wished to avoid such a battle.

"Hmph. Well whilst you may not have interest in me, you've peaked my curiousity. Gaia destroyed? What nonsense. If it's destroyed than how're we standing here."
Mouse loosened his grip slightly and planted his crook firmly against the ground leaning on it. It seemed this demon might have a few answers to questions he'd had lately about his visions, the crystal pieces, and the nagging feeling of deja vu he'd had since being interrupted.

((It's deja vous... xd It's french.))
Laughing a little bit, Godric turned on Mouse. "I have no reason to tell you that, but I suppose that I owe it to you for what I did to you in your past life."
Clearing his throat, Godric tried to formulate a summary of the story quickly for Mouse. "I was there, Gaia was destroyed by someone who was created after the death of the elf, Volgraza, and his destructive attempt to eradicate all demons in pursuit of the shards. His attempt failed miserably, he only killed himself. Anyhow, another being came along, who looked uncannily like Volgraza, and he was powerful, and he destroyed Gaia. I used to be a servant of the gods, so I am privy to the fact that they were not destroyed, and that they recreated Gaia and the people of it, modifying a few things to improve it. Hence, why you stand here today, a shadow of your past self. If you are having visions, it must be of your past life, and nothing more."
Godric felt like that explained things rather clearly, and his debt to Mouse for draining him to the brink of unconsciousness earlier was repayed.
((I just realized that roles have been reversed, Mouse can now drain Godric to unconsciousness. xd ))

(( scream I never took french. So sue me.))
Mouse's expression hardened as the grin wiped clean from his face. His story answered some questions and created many others, but no more answers could be found here. But one thing was completely clear to him as he walked past Godric heading towards the road.
"I thank your honesty. However if you still seek the shards, the next time we meet I shall not stop at simple questions."

((Neither did I, Mouse, neither did I. xd ))
Godric turned at Mouse and he grinned devilishly at the new rival. Perhaps there had always been more to Mouse than he had thought, maybe the man's wanderlust had been the front for his seeking of power, he was mortal like the rest of them had been. "If you plan on seeking the shards, then stay away from my four. The consequences of you getting your hands on any of the earth, metal, gravity, or animal shards could be devastating if I meet with you."
Turning his eyes to the paths again, he waited for the signs of the elementalists leaving Gellos, they couldn't leave without him knowing at this point.

Lanthanos slowly wandered in a southerly direction, until Ultima Peak came into view. He was tired, and needed to take a seat, but Ultima Peak had many rumors surrounding it, most of them Lanthanos knew from experience were true. Still, rest had to be taken, especially for Angel. Taking a seat on a stone in the ground, Lanthanos took a breather.

Angel followed Lanthanos towards Ultima Peak. She felt exhausted from having to use so much of her powers earlier, but she wouldn't show it, or atleast not that easily. She would travel as far she needed to before taking a break, though she was kind of relieved when Lanthanos had taken a seat on a stone sticking out of the ground. She ended up sitting under the shade of a nearby tree, as she took the time to regain her breath. She had a feeling they were going to be traveling quiet a ways away, so she would have to regain as much strength as she could now before they headed off again.

Looking about carefully, Lanthanos noticed nothing yet, other than what appeared to be impending storm clouds over the mountain. Slowly he pulled out the notebook, and he opened it up and began flipping through the pages, quickly skimming over his notes, spells, and research. Much had been added that he didn't remember, most of it written in Godric's demon language that would take some time to translate.
Closing up the notebook again, Lanthanos tucked it into his coat. Leaning back, he laid out on the stone and began to relax more.
"Angel... did you, uh... where did you find the notebook?" Lanthanos didn't know what else to say right now, and the silence around the peak made him uncomfortable.
