Even if I don't watch them all regularly I keep more or less up to date on the going ons on all three ABC soaps(All My Children, One Life to Live, General Hospital) and NBC's Days of Our Lives.
I don't watch very many talk shows, but I tune into Oprah at least once a month 3nodding
Favorite Daytime Show: Currently All My Children xd
Things That I Like: Anime, Manga, Archaeology, Reading & Writing SciFi and Fantasy, Video Games, Disneyland
Things I Dislike: Spiders, people who type only in l33t, Slasher Films

Daytime TV that I Like: Despite all of the soap opera stickies, I'm really more into the Judge shows. I follow Days, but right now I'm more into People's Court or Judge Joe Brown.
Favorite Daytime Show: Erm...just one? People's Court. I don't know where everyone is from, but where I am it's played at 11am and 4pm, so that technically qualifies as daytime, right? sweatdrop
Things That I Like: Learning about Infamous people, Web Design, Art, Hana Yori Dango (complete fangirl), Music, Adult Swim (at least the first hour and WHR when they were playing it). The colors pink and red. Ireland and London.
Things I Dislike: People who are mean without reason, bad movies (subjective, i know), Face masks (they completely creep me out), manipulative people.

I lived in the South/East Bay(Newark to be exact...it's next to Fremont and the Dumbarton Bridge =-) until I moved to LA to go to school 2 years ago.

LA is okay...I'm moving back to the Bay Area when I graduate in December, though.
I never quite adapted to the weather(soooo hot!) and the racial divides and tensions are much more noticable than in the Bay Area. The pollution is horrific and it hardly ever rains.
It's neat be near Hollywood, though, and I LOVE being within driving distance of Disneyland - I bought an annual pass ^.^ There are some fabulous museums that I'm going to miss(my, I sound lame xd )

Things That I Like: Photography (taking the pictures, viewing other people's work, etc) and other arts, writing, music, visiting the local llama farm, intelligent scifi (don't know if Roswell counts but oh well), history, shopping in Seatte, Seattle in general, Washington state in general, cheese, mashed potatoes, ziti with red sauce, good books, Monty Python, The Daily Show, Napoleon Dynamite, and all movies made by or co-written by Christopher Guest and Eugene Levey or Mel Brooks.
Things I Dislike: Awesome stores with nothing on sale, awesome sales with nothing worth buying, mullets, pop music, spiders... that's all I've got right now.

Welcome Alisen and Rosie! Welcome to the guild and happy early birthdays! Celes Star LA is okay...I'm moving back to the Bay Area when I graduate in December, though. And you do not sound lame talking about museums! Museums are some of the coolest places around. Have you been to the Met in New York? It's amazing. The Egyptian exhibit is spectacular.

I especially hate it when they cut to news near the end of a soap - I hate missing the cliffhanger ending when I watch crying

I especially hate it when they cut to news near the end of a soap - I hate missing the cliffhanger ending when I watch crying exactly!! friday... i'm watching the close to the end part of my soap... my fave character pulls a gun on one of my other fave. characters! then the special report interruptes..... i'm waiting.... and waiting... then finally i get back to my soap. the character with the gun is crying and the other character is laying on the ground. gonk i had missed the whole scene! AGH!!!
