Alright... I'll begin. I'm Erik, currently thirty-six, teacher of Creative Writing and Literature, engaged to the Biology teacher down the hall. I'm obsessed with books, language, and music, and I dabble in a whole slew of little scientific fields. I love blowing things up in the chem lab. xd I play the violin at all hours, which drives my neighbours crazy, I smoke like a chimney (pipe, cigarette, whatever) and I'm hopelessly addicted to caffeine. Sad, hm? Anyway... Yes, I suppose that's me. How about you?

Oh! Oh! Me next! I wanna go next!
Right. I'm Stephanie, Gaia alias LePetitReveur. I'm fifteen (I should have changed that already), a highschool student, and nearsighted. I need music to survive, and I love books, movies, mythology, autumn nights, summer evenings, and wind. I like the craziness of my friends, scarves, chocolate (CHOCOLATE~!), making people blink in confusion, and musicals. I played cello for three years in middle school and have recently started learning it again.
My cello's name is Boscoe Cledus Avery, AKA Bos. I think it's a he.
I want to learn to play the trumpet and double bass. I'm a stubborn mule. I like stealing my friends' cell phones while they're still talking and babbling at the people on the other end. I love words and everything you can do with them, and I don't usually make much sense. And that's about it.

Since people have already introduced themselves, I thought it would be a hassle to delete this and make everyone introduce themselves all over again, so that's why this is still here. Make sense? Good.
Anyway... I'm Sherlock Holmes. Seriously. It was the sixties, and I think my parents might have been 'influenced' in their choice by some outside 'factor', but that's the way things stand. To avoid confusion, I won't go by my christened name here. A lot of people call me Doc or Sardines (no clue why that is...) so either of those will work. Beyond being a Holmes freak, I am also a teacher of History, a Victorian Era freak, manic consumer of chocolate ice cream, and the guy you see standing on the corner staring into the sky for no apparent reason. Really, it's very funny to stand there looking up and see how many people look up to see what you seem to find so interesting. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I'm all for Scottish separation. We English don't want you clogging up our country anyway... Just joking, people.
That is the real me. On Gaia, I am a cosplay. That means that I am pretending to be Sherlock Holmes. Within the guild, I know I seem sort of schizophrenic, and I break character often. Sorry about that... I don't do it elsewhere, though. Please bear that in mind if you run into me in the forums.

Hai, I'm Erika~ That's not my real name, but I dislike my real name. whee
I'm fifteen. And I have ferrets. Three ferrets. That eat my socks.
I enjoy musicals (Jekyll & Hyde FTW!) very much, and am what one might call an aspiring actress. I stab into the veins of community theatre wherever I move to, and have been cast in three plays to date. I've seen roughly a bajilliontrillion though. n.n
I'm obsessed with top hats, pixel art, Dr. Jekyll, the Victorian era and the English language, and hope to get a job as an editor after college. I write as a hobby more than anything else, and have several original character wandering about my graymatter.
I can kind of play the piano, but singing is more my forte. Huzzah for mezzo-sopranos!
So yeah. XD

Hello, I'm Aikachi, I suppose since we are all giving our real names, you may know mine. My name is Sandy, and I am 22 years old. I am currently taking a break from school, I'm going for computer animation, thinking about earning a degree in graphic design as well. I also work in a pet store ninja
I've got several unrelated obsessions, I love dinosaurs, animation, Sherlock Holmes stories, and World of Warcraft to name a few. I'm also fascinated with sciences, particularly biology and genetics.
That ought to do it =3

Greetings! I'm Eirwyn, real first name is Lisa. Eirwyn is really a character in some comics I did several years ago, Doctor Who related series. I love all sorts of British things, and Sherlock Holmes is high on the list! I'd been keeping an eye out for a Holmes guild since I joined Gaia this spring, and was very happy when I found this one! The fact that it is small does not bother me a whit--I'm also in the Carolina Gaia guild, which just started up. I'm working up some banners for them at present, but would be quite happy to begin turning my mind towards banners here as well if you like, and I DON'T charge for my own guild! We make PILES of banners over at The Doctor Who Guild, and no one ever thinks of charging, so I certainly won't charge you either! smile

I'm Maddy. I'm 29 years old and a lawyer. I've been in love with Sherlock Holmes stories since I have memory. Although I never read them in English. From the various reincarnations Holmes had in movies and TV shows, I'm partial to Jeremy Brett. As I feel he's the one that captured what I imagined by reading the stories.

Hi! i'm minjiminji (um...the non-repeating one was taken already), but call me Rachel. I'm a 17-year-old living in Seattle, and I didn't read Sherlock Holmes until I got sick of my dad nagging about it. He usually only reads Tom Clancy and James Patterson, so I figured there must be something special about the consulting detective....
I got hooked about 7 pages into "a Study in Scarlet," and became obsessed. <3 I'll devour anything even remotely Holmes-ish that I can get my hands on. 3nodding (including pastiches)
I've been playing the violin for about 7 years, and I love the sountrack from Chocolat and Amelie. And though I'm constantly teased by my friends, I openly declare my love for Harry Potter (books!!), Shel Silverstein, and the Redwall series. mrgreen
Other than that, I enjoy drawing, painting (watercolor/ink, as well as using photoshop and oekaki applets), manga, the fantasy genre (dragons! yay~), and trying new things....Also, I'm somewhat touchy about my (lack of) height, am an absolute menace on the road (read "inept and dangerous", not "speed-demon"), and can't swim to save my life.
