Alright, I just bought a laptop-- it's a Toshiba Satellite M55. It's nice enough, and only $1,000, and does what I want. I'm just wondering what sorts of accessories/etc I might want to buy for a laptop, as a student.

if you travel alot a spare 12cell battery is good along with a travel charger and a good sturdy case. if you want some space to put music photos and other stuff i would get a zip drive so it doesn't cram up your hard drive for school. i want a laptop but i can't afford it i am running a comp with a custom red case 5 lighted fand 2 processor fans and 2 power supply fans 128mb of ram 1000mhz processor. and i want a laptop to take places and i never priced toshiba but if they have it a docking station with a hard drive would be nice for when you aren't taking it with you. you could hook up a bunch of stuff to the station printer, camera, mp3 player, speaker system, and a mouse i hate the touchpads.
