Frozen wastes, dangerous brigands, and cruelty as far as the eye can see. This is the Northlands a land with no hope, the icy atmosphere is complacent with the emotion. Assassins, Barbarians, and thieves rule this land. Bandits of the North unlike their southern cousins dont care for the people in the least.
This is Shadach on Silvaia.
This is the breeding ground for disaster.
This is the Northlands.

Astalia sat in a dim cell room. Walking across the mucky floor, she looked down at the bed with disgust. Turning back around, she walked to the cell door and reached out, gently touching the guard on the shoulder.
"Don't you have any... less dirty cells?"
: "Well, I suppose ye did come willingly, heard ye didn't give the boss any grief. Suppose we can treat ye a bit better." The Guard then led her to a clean cell, fit for a proper lady. "Ye are a mighty pretty lass..."
"Please don't let dirty thoughts cross your mind. I'm a captive being held for randsom, not torture or pleasure. Keep that in mind."
Walking past the Guard into the fresh cell, that he saw fit for a lady, she looked around and turned around, sighing as he closed the door.
"I'll accept this cell, I suppose. It's at least clean."
Turning, Astalia walked to the bed and sat down. Luckily enough for her, she had her own style, and therefore wore classy jeans beneath her skirt. Leaning back on her hands, sitting on the bed, she looked around the cell. Standing up as she looked up at a rag hanging on the wall, she frowned. Standing onto the bed and reaching up onto her tip-toes, she ripped the rag off the wall to reveal a barred window. Smiling once she realized that the shutters swung in instead of out, she opened them and sat back down on the bed, smiling as the Guard glared at her.
"It stinks down here. I'm sure that you would be much healthier with some fresh air. Besides, this dreary little place could use some light to be shed down in it."
Reaching into a pink purse with a red emroidered rose on it, she pulled out a compact and some make up, fixing herself up before she pulled out lotion and applied it to her skin. Even in a dreadful place like this, she still had to take care of herself.
"No thanks to my mother and father I'm down here. Why do they always have to nag? 'Oh honey, you're so beautiful and proper! Why don't you go out and see if you can't find yourself a nice lad?' They said. So I finally go out to town, and I get taken away. Luckily for me, the 'boss' appreciates those who don't give him any grief. It's a plus for me, at least I'm being treated well."
After talking to herself, and giving a slight conversation to the Guard, her stomach grumbled. Twisting her face, she looked to the Guard and patted her stomach.
"Wouldn't happen to have any food down here, would you? Nope, didn't think so. Oh well."

In the hallways came a deathly scream as blood splattered acrossed the walls. The shadows seemed to be attacking the guards one by one. The claws tore into men steely sharp claws ripping through the men with out a care. Soon a man walked out of the shadows, a man with platinum hair and a cold face stood over the corpse while one, claw shaped katar held onto the broken neck of a guard.
"....you people sicken me...."

Sitting upright and throwing her things back into her purse, the freshly applied girl ran to the cell door and watched as her Guard shivered back into a corner in fear. She tried to look around the corner, but found herself inable to.
"Hey, who's talking out there? Who are you talking to? What's going on?"
Blinking as she watched her Guard fall ill by the shadows, she blinked as she finally saw the attacker. Reaching to a floral wrapping on her back, she pulled out a katana, a weapon they never knew she had. Hunkering down to her knees, she stuck it through the bars and hooked it through the key-ring, pulling the keys into her cell. She blinked as she looked up at the man, holding her cell door key in hand, along with many other keys.
"I'm not coming out unless you swear not to hurt me."
Looking down, she cringed at the blood. Disgusting! She just wanted to get home back to her mother and father, and screw ever marrying! She finally goes out to the town, to South Falderas. They told her if she kept hanging around North Falderas, the richer side of their quaint little town, that she would never find anyone, since all the men of North Falderas were all married. Bah! Forget men of Bowerstone. She didn't need to marry, she was only twenty, still so young.
"Well, if you're going to kill me, do it quick and make it painless. I need to get back home."
Reaching her slender arm between the tight bars, she unlocked her cell door, put her katana back into the floral wrapping on her back, and began to walk away. Stopping, she reached down and grabbed three small sacks that lay on a bench.
"Mmm. Dinner."
Pulling an apple out of one of the stuffed bags, she hooked the other's onto a belt she wore and took a bite, pulling out her katana as she readied herself for battle while she began to walk slowly up the stairs. The sound of her feet shuffling with each step on the stairs slowly came to an end as she stopped and leaned against a wall, waiting for the mysterious man.
"Well, come on now. The least I can do for you saving me is pay you well and get you some dinner. Real dinner. Mmmm... Falderas dinner. Ever heard of it? Falderas, I mean. It's my home, born and raised. Come along now."

The man backed up into the shadows and vanished but reappeared in her shadow twitching his wrist and caused the katars to retract into his sleeves.
"I am not here to save you...I came to kill their leader....you realize you are ordering a Jade what to do...."
He then took her katana out of her hands thrust it through the door breaking the lock. He spun into the air and moved into a bicycle kick and knocked the door into the wall.
"You're free to go princess...."
He then walked back into the shadows and prepared to walk into them so he could make his way off further into the building and kill the syndicate boss.

Gently taking her katana back, she tilted her head towards the shadows and stood with her hands infront of her, fingers locked together.
"A Jade? I've never heard of one... Oh, I'm not a princess, by the way. Thank you for saving me, Jade. You are welcome into Northern Falderas at any time, just tell the Guard that you have an invitation from Astalia Cordaire, they'll let you in. You can ask any of the Guards to lead you to my house, where I can properly repay you. But please, do visit. I would like to ask you what a Jade is one day."
Smiling sweetly, she unlocked her fingers and grabbed a long, shaggy robe. She grabbed a shacky black scarf and wrapped it around her face, up to her nose, then pulled the hood up after removing her hat, strapping her hat to her belt. She pulled out her katana and walked into the room, wounding those that got into her way. Even for being kidnapped, she was still too kind to actually kill those that kidnapped her, instead she just wounded them, but nothing fatal. She walked towards the door and turned, waving a hand to the shadows as one of her rings began to glow. As it did, she held her katana in her palms loosely and locked her fingers together before a blue light surrounded her and she disappeared.

Fenix found the Syndicate boss soon enough, and began to do battle with them. Time stalled as he threw a flurry of kunai across the room killing all the guards. He then charged forward and threw the Syndicate boss to the floor.
"Stop I'll give you whatever you want!!"
Fenix continued to step forward, he began to go through some changes in his appearance as his eyes became like gold. The shadows molded around his back looking like wings. His voice reverberated across the room as he spoke in this new more frightening form.
"You screwed up....you did one thing that is unforgivable you kidnapped my daughter....now you must die..."
He then grabbed the boss and threw him into the floor, he then tossed him across the room. He flapped his wings of shadow and flew across the room and punched him rapidly against the wall.
"Never even think of hurting anyone important to me..."
He then flew swiftly and threw the boss through the window and down into the streets with a loud thud. He flew and landed in the street.
"Now ponder your life as you die you pathetic excuse for Syndicate scum..."
(Just a note he saved his daughter already. But I felt it more fitting for him to kill the guy because its vengeance at its finest.)
