I'll start the ball rolling with my not-so-much-but-I-hope-it's-enough introduction. I'm Nna, known as Anna or Annabella in real life. The origins of Nna is derived from "Anna", a shorter form of Annabella because people here are too lazy to pronounce names with 4 syllables, and it is annoying to hear people call me "Annabelle" sometimes. XD I've a Chinese name, which is an unfortunate pun in Chinese for disfigurement - "Hui Rong" (My name's Hanyu Pinyin intonation: Hui4 Rong4). "Annabella" and the punny "Hui Rong" sounds like a nice oxymoron to me. Currently 16, 17 in about 7 months I think. Will be taking the 'O' Levels this year, because I'm in Secondary 5 and the education system is a b***h. ^^ I don't know where I'd like to go after the 'O' levels for now though. Ideally, to eventually somewhere that I would enjoy spending my whole life doing. Perhaps something that involves travelling the world or to places, or visual art, fashion design. Btw, for those of you who are wondering which school am I from, I'm from a standard-issue school, nothing special. It's Westwood Secondary school. Don't ask why it has been named Westwood, I have been wondering the same. X3 I love drawing, and most of all, working on CGs and tradtional media works. Playing around with various media can be fun but fritzy when colours and stuff gets screwed. Choice of digital media, Photoshop 7 and Painter 9 (currently trying to get used to it...). Open Canvas is flexible but it sucks in terms of variety. Anyway. Here's my deviantArt gallery. If you'd like to have a look, that is. Oh, and sometimes, I write. There's only one piece I wrote about something... randomish abstractish.. in my dA gallery. I guess that's all I have to write about myself? X3

I'm Erae - that's my online alias actually which I prefer to be addressed XD My real life english name starts with the alphabet E as well.
Incidentally, I just turned 19 yesterday lol. *feels reaaallly OLD 'cus I'm going to have a 2 front digit next year!* Anyway, I'm in Singapore Polytechnic, finishing my year 2 - in the course of Multimedia Technology.
I love drawing as well but is more into pixel-drawing 'cus vector graphics just doesn't agree with me. Actually, I'm still learning and somehow not doing very well.
*envy Nna 'cus she CAN draw!* Maybe you can try an Art School like Lasalle or take up a Multimedia couse like I am but I can tell you that your standards is good already XD

I'm Shaoli, and if you must have an easier name to address me by IRL, "xiaoli" will do. Have been 24 since the 10th of February, and am not enjoying being so close to a quarter-century. At all. Currently working with a publishing firm as an illustrator and layout designer.
I'm an old Gaia user. Been here since a month from when it all started. So has Angsty Shem, my fiance, who set this place up for Nna, and who also runs the Texan Guild. I'm glad he did it, because Nna and myself are likely both too lazy to have ever gone about it any time soon. ^^;;;

I'm Shem.
I'm a large caucasian from Texas, USA.
I'm marrying a short Singaporean, and am being forced to move to Singapore in a few weeks. So I figured I might as well get used to it. >>;;
I hate "Singlish." Alot. Like, "nails on chalkboard" alot.
Edit: Though I got to know Esdee and Nna independent of Shao, before knowing they were all Singaporeans.

Angsty Shem Edit: Though I got to know Esdee and Nna independent of Shao, before knowing they were all Singaporeans. Heheh yeah ... fun! PM me when you two are in Singapore. My name is sdeleven, but some call me Esdee (not my real name still). I'm a final year struggling student studying Info Systems & Mgt student in SIM under UOL. Some quick facts about me : - I'm chinese - I'm a girl (duh) - I'm married (yes to a wonderfully nice MCP) - I'm currently living alone with him in our own little 3-rm flat in Kallang - I have a "son" name Zhu Zhu who is a Shih Tzu. - Loves manga, anime, doggies, plushies, cute stuff basically, doodling on my tablet in openCanvas - Loves travelling, clubbing, window-shopping, internet surfing, chilling out with my friends, and recently heheh MAhJONG! - Hates school work, datelines, 2 faced jerks, spoilt brats, animal abusers, bad hair days, noise pollution, veggies Things I love about Singapore : - Nothing can be compared to singapore's food!!! - Racial harmony??? Although sometimes I wonder if it's true. - Cheap bargains!!! I mean it! It's mostly cheaper to buy stuff from SG than from places like Europe and USA even though it's made from those places. - Greenery? Although it may not have the wonderful forests found in most other countries, it's quite well "decorated" with trees, flowers and plenty of grass.

Erae Maybe you can try an Art School like Lasalle or take up a Multimedia couse like I am but I can tell you that your standards is good already XD I'm still considering my prospects, though. The amount of designers and what-have-you is becoming saturated in Singapore, and so is the market. Besides, and believe me, I feel terribly n00bish right beside the many artists I know of from sganime.com. Shaoli I'm glad he did it, because Nna and myself are likely both too lazy to have ever gone about it any time soon. ^^;;; Shem to the rescue. ^_^;

O_o Angsty Shem I'm marrying a short Singaporean, and am being forced to move to Singapore in a few weeks. So I figured I might as well get used to it. >>;; I hate "Singlish." Alot. Like, "nails on chalkboard" alot. Any plans? *nudge* whee Well, "Singlish" isn't that bad. Maybe it's just me.. But sometimes I find it pretty annoying, and I'm appalled at myself sometimes whenever I catch myself drawling too much in "Singlish".

I quit shortly because I feared slipping and falling on my butt. xd Anyway, clinched anything during the competition? ^^ sdeleven Angsty Shem Edit: Though I got to know Esdee and Nna independent of Shao, before knowing they were all Singaporeans. Yea, I know what you mean but I think most people there don't enter art schools or so the ones I've seen. Most artists I know, they just self-teach themselves etc. And I'm saying about the standards of the tutors that's poor LOL XD 'cus they really teach BASIC stuff, or least my course - I felt I wasted my years here 'cus I could easily pick them up myself through exploration ^^; sdeleven - Loves travelling, clubbing, window-shopping, internet surfing, chilling out with my friends, and recently heheh MAhJONG! LOVES mahjong too XD haha! And I've always complained how expensive the movie tickets are here, but in actual fact, it's relatively cheap compared to other countries so I've stop complaining whee
