The Cave if the Hermit Somewhere in the dense foliage of the Faufer territory lies a hidden cave. It is painted with strange markings, scary beasts, and over grown with vines and creepying plants. It seems old and abandoned as spider webs hand from the outer ceiling and dead leaves are scattered about the visable floor. But there is signs of life. Outside the cave is the remants of a fresh fire, now having died down from not being kept. Foot steps of a cougar are all around yet hidden unless you know where to look. What is this place? Who lives here? Only the brave will know.((This the cave that Tabitha, an old "witch doctor" of Faufer lives. All RPs centered around her must take place here as she will not go to the main tribe's home.))

Name: Tabitha Age: Unknown Family: Unknown Appearance: She is very very old. Most likely she is the eldest cougar of the clan to ever exist. Her fur is faded and her eyes are slightly foggy from her many years alive. This only adds to the creep out factor when she stares at you. She is usually dirty though not smelling. She always has the mark of a gardener on her, the smell of fresh earth and sweat. Personality: Tabitha is VERY antisocial. No one knows of her past but it is rumored it was so painful she left the tribe to forget. She won't help anyone unless there is a real need for her assitance. She speaks with harshness and often tells people to just go away once her job is done. *Note: If you want to RP with Tabitha you are going to have to convince her that you really really need her help to achieve your place in the tribe. Otherwise she will avoid you or drive you away from her home. So RP your need well.

Timore sat cowering under the bed as he mother held her stomach panting a little bit. The wind outside was howling and tearing at the small treehouse. A loud crash of thunder rolled right over head and Timore crouched tremmbling lower under the bed. "Go, go get the shameness." Her mother panted and then said again. "Go. Go get Tabitha!" Timore shook her head. SHE wasn't going out in this storm. She KNEW that the evil storm creature was just waiting to grab her and snatch her away. She shook her head. "TIMORE! GO NOW!" Her mother screamed as pain wracked her body. Timore jumped up and scurried outside tremmbling she did not like seeing her mother in this much pain, and yet the storm scared her nearly as much. She would just have to be as quick as possible. She ran as quickly as she could darting across the rope bridges which held the treetop community together. She scrammbled down the bridge and took off into the forest towards a cave. As she came to enterance of the Shameness' dwelling she paused scared but then darting inside when a lightning bolt struck a nearby tree. She looked about her eyes wide at all the roots and feathers and other objects which hung here there and everywhere. She cautiously made her way into the Shameness's dwelling as she called out. "Tab... Tab.. Tabitha?" She waited until she heard the Shameness begin to come forward. She shuddered Tabitha was OLD and was quite scary looking. "I... I... My mommy needs you! She... is in pain." She would whine a little bit and point back where she came from. She was unsure of where she should go and what she should do. She did not want to go back out into the storm but staying here alone would be nearly as bad.

The crone cougar growled in her throat as she heard soft foodsteps enter her cave. She shuffed her way forward but slowly, making sure to examine this kitten. After hearing the request she growled softly and turned her back to the kitten. A voice full of old age and pain rasped out and combined with the growl.
"So she is in pain. So what? What does that have to do with me? Now get out of my cave!"

Timore would back up a little bit but she would try to stop her tremmbling legs. "She... she... she is in pain. The.. the kitten isn't comming out right." She would say quietly. "She... she... she said to go get you because you know what to do!" Timore would back up a little bit somewhat scared at what this old "beast" might do. And she was an elder too. Will I get smacked for demanding of the Elder? She tremmbled and only the thought of her mother in such pain kept her from bolting back into the storm and then back to her mother's side.

The old cougar eyed the small on with her opache eyes and a stern look. She was quiet for a bit then turned around and grabbed some bags.
"Blasted mothers. Can't they take care of themselves to prevent this. Well come on!! I don't have all night! Get a move on!"
She staulked towards the village, as if the storm was nothing but a small drop of rain to her.

Timore blinks and then quickly follows and then yelps as lightning cracks over head and she darts forward streaking for home but staying enough so that Tabitha could hopefully find her way and follow.

The old one makes it just fine, its not like she doesn't remember where her former home was. She frowned at the kitten's reaction.
"Does such a little thing like lightning frighten you? Then what use are you!! Are you scared of your shadow too? Hmph, how useless. You had better get your courage up quick, kitten. The spirts of this forest look down upon the cowards. They are of no use to anyone and are best weeded out."
She finally found the right hut and began her work. After giving the mother a stern talking too about what things she could have done to prevent this, she started pushed and pressing on her stomach. Slowly she moved the baby into a better position for birthing.

Timore stood staring watching what Tabitha did. Taking in all that went on she didn't reply to Tabitha but stood looking at her. Once Tabitha was done, the small bundle of fur and mess resting with Timore's mother Timore would turn to Tabitha to finally answer her her anger having been building slowly, but her awe as well for this was the first time she had actually SEEN the ancient Cougar.
"I am NOT afraid of everything! Just, just the spirits!" She paused a moment tremmbling her anger used up as quickly as it had slowly built up. "How did you do that? HOw did you make her stop hurting? What's in that? How does it work? Where'd you get it? Huh?" Her words and questions would start to tummble almost non-stop her amazement and astonishment quite evident.

A sharp slap across the face from the elder came right about then.
"Foolish kitten, do you think spirits taught me how to turn and deliver a baby? NO! It took practice and many births. Not all abilities come from spirits silly kitten. If you expect the spirits to teach you everything then you are going to be waiting a long time. Most things you learn in life are experience, not blessings."
She packed up her things and slowly made her way back out into the storm and back towards her cave.

Timore stood in shock she had never been HIT before. She stared after Tabitha tears beginning to well in her eyes. "I... I just wanted to know how you do it! I didn't say the spirits taught you! I just wanna know!!" She would turn and run towards her small nest in a corner of the hut sobbing quietly into the woven branches.

"Then you'll show more respect in your voice when you ask next time. I have no time for demanding little hot heads."
She continued walked and made her way back to her cave. Foolish kitten, she though, thinking she could just get all the answers by asking them all at once.

Timore would stay crying softly not paying much attention to what was going on around her. She would talk to her mother after a few hours getting up and getting her some water and some milk. She would also climb up to the supply area ontop of their house muttering softly to herself. "I just wanted to learn what she was doing. She didn't have to be so mean!"

Timore came back to the mean ol' Shameness's cave. She have a "scary" face on. Her blanket was tied tight around her like a little cape. She held a "Large" stick in her hand. She made her way forward and began to pound on the stone near the enterance. "I know that you are in there! Come out! I wanna learn!" She would cross her arms and attempt to look angry and sevear but the truth of the matter was she was quaking in her fur and if Tabitha yelled at her she very likely would have turned and run right from there.

Something tapped the kitten on the shoulder.
"Demanding little bug aren't you?"
It was Tabitha, she had known the kitten was on her way. She had her spies in the forest. So she decided to see what she would do from afar.
"Now speak up about this learning that you want."
