It was just off the main road, this lovely place where Erika sat comfortably on the long grass, her thick skirt helping keep the grass blades from brushing and irritating her legs. Beside her sat a basket of ripe strawberries and blueberries that had just been bought from the town market. Licking her lips, the young woman absently grabbed at a blueberry while her calm lilac eyes watched a young Tohopka as it bounded across the meadow with childlike exuberance, a pink flash within the green. Whenever the female child pranced by the seated woman, Erika could smell the happy scent of strawberries.
"Ichigo."
The Tohopka did a quick turn and bounded back over to Erika, falling comfortably to the ground beside her. Chuckling a little Erika fed Ichigo a bright red strawberry from the basket. Ichigo gobbled down the strawberry and a couple of blueberries for good measure and was then up again, running through the grass with the fleetness of a deer. Erika looked on with a happy grin, glad for this simple joyous moment.

 The black and red male yawned and continued on his walk. He had left his family for a couple of days to get away from the pair that had just hatched. With a quick glance of his red eyes he saw a pink white and red Tohopka and stopped crouching down so she wouldnt see him. As he approached downwind from the beast he cought the smell of strawberries. Savage herd chewing and looked over to see a human eating berries. 'must be her owner' he murmered in his mind.
Savage got a wicked idea and snuck closer and closer to the recklessly running tohopka. Finally when he was satisfied he waited for her to approach him and he grabbed on of her front paws quickly making her fall. He got up and gave a deep laugh, he couldnt help it. His specialty was evil deeds right?

Ichigo continued her happy bounding around; loving this chance to get out of the cottage they lived in and see some of the world. Occasionally she would stop and look over her shoulder towards Erika, just making sure she hadn't wandered too far away from her partner. After one such moment, she nodded happily to herself after seeing Erika staring pleasantly up into the sky and started running again. Unfortunately paying little attention to this things around her.
Something came out of nowhere, grabbing her foot and sending her head over heels. Ichigo crumbled to the ground in a heap, her lovely strawberry scent changing to one of lemons, showing her startlement before completely dieing away. Shaking her head to clear it, Ichigo pushed herself up into a sitting position and glanced around for the... log?... that had tripped her over.
It certainly wasn't a log. Ichigo tilted her head to the side as she regarded this funny newcomer. She'd never met another of her kind before and was actually quite delighted. He might have been laughing at her but that didn't mean he was bad, and so she gave him a pleasant smile. Maybe if she asked nicely he would play something with her?

Savage watched the female tohopka in front of him become sparked with interest and sat down watching her smile at him. He decided he didn't want to say the first word so he just studied her with his eyes intently.

Talking wasn't something she did often. In fact she had yet to learn human speech off Erika. Of course, that didn't stop her from talking in the Tahopka language, she was just a little nervous.
Hello.
Finally she spoke to him. Her eyes filled with warmth, Ichigo watched the male and hoped he would respond to her greeting. If not... well, she might just have to pounce on him. Oh, that would be a wonderful game.

Savage was a bit suprised to her her speak in the tohopka language, at his home they only talked on human language since they had two humans there who generally listened to what was going on. He had looked away while waiting for her to reply but he was now looking strait at her. "Hello, names Savage" he said lifting his backside off the ground.

"Oh, Savage! Well, that's a wonderful name!" She exclaimed in delight, ignoring the implications of such a name. Ichigo was extremely affectionate, even to those she'd just met, it was just her personality. With a happy grin she darted forward and rubbed her head against Savage's neck in a friendly manner. Then she fell over at his feet, and lay placidly on her back, looking up at his with wide eyes.
"Will you stay and play with me Savage?"

The black and red male shrugged "i've never really played but I suppose I could try" he answered and looked down at the sweet smelling tohopka that was now laying at his feet. "you'll have to teach me though" he said wondering if she wanted to play enough to take the time out to let him learn.

Ichigo had never realized that 'play' was something you could learn. She had always thought it was something you just... well, did. Thus she looked rather confused as he told her she'd have to teach him. Not for long though. A second later she was brightly nodding her head. "Of course, of course I can teach you." Teaching him to play would no doubt be as fun as actually playing, though she wasn't all that certain how to go about it.
Rolling herself back onto her feet, the Tohopka pondered, tilting her head slightly to the side. "How do you teach someone how to play?" She asked him, as if he would know the answer.

Savage blinked at her question but watched her roll onto her back "i'm not sure, you play, let me watch and see if i can pick it up" he said, it was akward for him saying play, it was a new word for him.

"Oh... um..." Thumping the ground with her tail while she thought, Ichigo managed to look puzzled and happy at the same time, making for a rather cute combination. Finally she reached out a paw and touched his shoulder, and then darted away calling, "Come and catch me!" She bounded across the grass for a few metres and then halted to look back and see if he was following.

Savage blinked for a second as she ran off, as she called for him to come catch her he launched off. As fast as he could he began chasing her. His larger size giving him a slight advantage. The male began bearing down upon her, he batted out with his paws trying to touch her tails but opted for a different tactic. Savage pushed off the ground with all his might and hoped to catch Ichigo.

She looked back to check on him and was delighted to see him pounding after her. Ichigo squealed in delight and lengthened her stride. She did have a head start, but he was stronger and he quickly closed the gap between them. She only had a moment to think, as she glanced behind her and saw him pepare to launch himself at her. The female stopped abruptly, lowering her body suddenly to the ground and rolling to the side, hoping to evade him.

Savage swung his paws to see if she was under but realised she wasnt, he quickly opened his eyes and spun around in the air landing backwards to how he just was, with a quick look he saw her and pounced again since she was only about 5 feet away.

Ichigo shook her head to clear it and turned to look at her companion, she watched Savage as he regained his footing and leapt again. Though she did her best to get onto her feet and away, this time she wasn't fast quite fast enough. The male Tahopka pounced upon her, causing her to let out a small squeal of delight. "You got me, you got me!" Then she attempted to free herself from the ball of flailing limbs.
