I don't feel differently for different characters.... I was sad when Cho/Harry didn't work, I was Happy when Harry/Ginny did. ext ext.
But in the 6th book, I felt Ron really was being a git. He was jelous because Krum and Hermione kissed, like what.... 2 years ago?! And it is his fault really in that he didn't ask Hermione to the Yule Ball if he liked her so much.......
anyway.... does anyone feel the same?

I love the way Ron is portrayed, all the way down to being a stubborn git. I think he is one of the most realistic characters in the series. I have know so many people (mostly guys) in my life that have acted in that same way. They like the girl, but don't want to admit to it so will go to any lengths to make people believe they don't like them (teasing, mocking ... that whole pre-teen courtship scenario). I agree that from Hermione's perspective, Ron was being a royal jerk when he got jealous about Krum, but from an outsiders point of view, it is completely realistic and completely fits in with the age that the characters are at that time.

P.S. I rejoiced when Cho/Harry didn't work out. She was WAY too over-emotional and a down-right spazz-case, even for a hormone ridden pubescent girl. Harry is better off without her! blaugh

I agree that Ron is the most realistic. The most amusing part is when he ang Ginny have a huge argument after Ron catches her making out with Dean.
My brother and I had a similar argument once xD
