All that I know for certain is that it is just a rumor being thrown around.

it seams people want it to be more then just such, a few lunar fans have been digging, and digging for any info on this new game, it kinda scares me

I haven't made up my mind yet on whether I want another Lunar game or not. I think it had good potential for an anime (there was a rumoured one floating around once upon a time) series, but I highly doubt that would happen. I think it would have gotten more attention if it was an anime, but it's our beloved RPG. The way I see it is this: The story that surrounds the world of Lunar can only be told but so many times in so many different ways and can only stretch so far. Lunar SSS was the intro to it and EB was the ending (basically). I'm just worried that if they did have another Lunar game, that it wouldn't have anything to do with the original story line. It'd be like Final Fantasy. Most of them have nothing to do with the others (with the exception of 10, 10-2 and the many games spawning from 7). Don't get me wrong, I'd love another Lunar game....But I honestly don't think it's going to happen simply because the story is so intricate and the people who actually like Lunar would be offended if they strayed from that.

I didn't include MS because most people haven't played it, but thank you for mentioning it.

Well, as the site says, it's been a rumor for decades. The only thing that has changed that has been us, the fans. If we want to see anything really happen, we need to be more active. We need to speak out, start letter writing campaigns to ESP/JAM and tell them we want more.

And, as for story line:

I disagree. I think an update/proper American release of MS would be nice (now that Lex_peacekeeper mentions it), I think the tale of the "Four Heroes" of legend from SSSC needs to be told, and other side stories could flesh out the 1000 years of time between the first 2 games, much less a game that really and specifically goes into detail of the flight from the Blue Star and the creation of the Silver Star. I think there's plenty of material left...

Anyways, I've been hella busy with school and other things, so I haven't been checking in as much as I'd like, but it seems like this place needs an injection of a little life otherwise.

Get some conversations going, get some subforums going, keep Lunar alive!
