"The Retreat"
(Feels cheesy and slightly embarrassed doing this, but if it's for fun in a friend's guild...)
Thank you for making this thread nice, for the amount of time that it lasted. ^ ^

This is a get-away for people who don't like huge parties. It's founded by me, but you have to make it what it is, because I can't just, like be here all by myself...
... This is a place you can bring your buddy, or you can talk to somebody new here.
Setting: A green field, surrounded by mountains but close by are large hills. And water, a lake, a stream and a pond.
It's a retreat for you and anyone else (your mom, dad, brother, second cousin, friend, best friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc.) to get away from mainstream Gaia, so there's not any loud music because it's so obnoxious. gonk
There's a lot of trees, some large ones growing on the ground and others on the hills. There's a pond, under some willow trees. I have no idea what it's for, honestly, wash your clothes in it if you want. Just joking! Intricate designs are carved in each side of these little boat-like things, different patterns. Other boats have small hearts carved into them, paisley, leaves. Don't race in it, you can if you want to, but I hope your boat tips over. whee
There's a lake about two acres North-East of where the house is (Acres A-5, A-6, and A-7; Acres B-6, and B-7) you could drown if you swim in it, so just... maybe you shouldn't, I don't know, let's get on...
The Map...
You'll see a few of these framed and nailed to posts around the field. (Don't worry, the posts aren't tacky...)
What about them? You can, first of all, tell where you are since there's a red dot at the location you're standing, wherever you're reading the sign. There's one every two acres, and there's 42 acres total as the map goes accross 7x7. A map would look like this:
Acre
______1___2___3___4___5___6___7
A______________________________
B______________________________
C______________________________
D______________________________
E______________________________
F______________________________
G______________________________
This is just an idea, but there would be dots and a few lines connecting the acres to the letters and numbers. There would also of course, be land marks, (the pond, for example, or the lake, or the house) so you would not easily get lost and would be able to see where things were.
The House...
Located directly in the middle of Acre E-4, this is a three-story attic-and-basement home where you can stay for the night or weekend, and it's shaded by the largest trees we have and is, though you'll spend more time out in the feild having fun, a very fun place to be. There is a:
Library, three rooms of it on a corner of the house. There's round tables where you can sit and large, pained windows with white wood on the corner to look out of which face South-East. It's on the second floor.
A hot tub, and is now on 24/7 thanks to donators who seem to really love hot tubs. It, too, is on the second floor near the deck, with a large window where you can see the grass, birds and trees from inside. Of course the glass case around the tub is ripple glass! eek To get onto the deck, you can simply just open the sliding glass door and walk out. But take into consderation that the air from outside might feel cold to the other visitors in the hot tub.
Rooms for the day, but no beds! For obvious reasons, I mean, I can't tell if you're trying to run away from home or use this as a free motel, and I don't even feel like making my own bed half the time! But you can spend as much time outside as you want to, and you can sleep on the day beds in the spare room on the left of the house down the hallway, if it's a certain occasion. Or you can just lay there to rest during the day!
There's more, but this is the visitors list, visitors including those who do some work around the house but they're not required to clean on a regular basis:
Helpers...
Marlewin - House keeper of the rooms! Pay delievered twice monthly, amount - 20g.
The gardens? It's okay! We don't need anybody to water them! I'll just spit on my plants....
Life guards are not needed, since you have to bring a partner in order to go swimming in the lake. Bring a floaty if you can, and I don't care how strong and attractive your muscles are, you're not going alone.
...
Don't go at all! domokun The lake's just for looks, or, it should be.
Visitors can feed the ducks or koi, if you bring a quarter! There's a fish food dispenser near three sides of the pond, of course it costs a quarter for a fourth a cup. Just tell me if it needs to be refilled.
There are a few docks and walkways surrounding the lake, bridging over it smaller parts of it, but since it's on the very upper right corner of the map and taking up nearly 4 acres, you shouldn't go too far into it.
