I know some other european metal bands and I really like them! My favorites are nightwish, epica, after forever, lacuna coil, rhapsody, stratovarius, sonata artica, etc.

I haven't heard a lot of European bands, but from what I did hear I love! ^_^ I want more!!!!!!!!

European bands are great like epica, after forever heart , amorphis, nightwish, lacuna coil, alight, delain etc. oh and Within temptation of course heart heart heart

Well, WT, of course! And Nightwish, Keane, Rammstein, Di-Rect... Would you believe that I've never heard a single Epica song, even though I'm Dutch? surprised

Well, though Epica is Dutch, they're not very mainstream, so it's not über weird.
And I personally love British and German bands ^_^.
