Ender's Game was good... The Shadow series is better. *nods*
One of the best series I ever read though, was Stephen King's 'The Dark Tower' Series. That was just AMAZING.

HairySarriBerryPie Vut vaz being so amazing about this 'Ze Dark Tower' series? <.< Theres a Shadow series? I mean, I just picked up Ender's Shadow.. but.. theres more boooks after eet? Yes.. the Ender Series is as follows: Ender's Game Speaker for the Dead Xenocide Children of the Mind (or something like that) The Shadow Series is: Ender's Shadow Shadow of the Hedgemon Shadow Puppets Shadow of the Giant All very good books. I loved the Dark Tower Series... My favorite books remain to be Terry Pratchett's Disc World Series... Along with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Good Omens, Neverwhere, American Gods, and Binding Ties. I also love anything by Chuck Palahunick; Flub Club, Suvivor, Choke, and Stanger than Fiction in particular.

The Dark Tower is a series of seven books written by the good Stephen King. It's what he calls his 'uber story' and it actually incorporates almost ALL of the other books he's written (which means I need to read more of his stuff, because though he tends to write a bit more about sex than I'd like, he's an AMAZING writer).
The first sentence in the series is this: "The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed." The main character is the last gunslinger in existance, and the world has moved on. He's chasing the man in black for reasons unknown, but you eventually find out that the gunslinger is on a quest to find the Dark Tower, which is said to be the source of their entire universe and existance. The gunslinger's name is Roland Deschain, and a few more characters show up as the story goes on...
It's a fantasy, as opposed to a horror... But it's a real morbid fantasy. ACtually... you could ALMOST describe it as realistic fantasy (if that makes ANY sense). Either way, the worlds King creates and the connections it has with our own... Hahaha, it's just flat out AMAZING. DEFINITELY worth reading. The first book is a liiiittle slow, but don't let that stop you. It gets to a point you just can't stop reading... You can't. Ahhh, that's probably my most favorite series I've ever read. And I read. A LOT. Anyway, that blurb was a little cryptic, so if you wanna know more about the series, just ask... I just don't wanna give any of it away, because it's SO much more fun to experience it. 3nodding
Other AWESOME books? Life of Pi Catch 22 What Dreams May Come The Golden Compass (the first in a trilogy - The Subtle Knife and the Amber Spyglass are the other two) actually, there's a series by Garth Nix (who's more of a young teen writer, but I like him anyway) called The Keys to the Kingdom... That one's real neat... Also, he did The 7th Tower... That series was awesome too... Ahhh, the Circle Of Magic series - Tamora Pierce (sp?) Gosh... What else... I've read so many I can't THINK of any... Ah well...

I must say I'm now curious about the story...perhaps after I'm finished Ender's Game and the Shadow series I'll start on it. And realistic fantasy? Don't worry, it makes sense.
Whats 'What Dreams May Come'?
Well when you do think of some..You know where to list 'em. o.o
