Well, I'm a terrible liar, and I hate to see a thread without a single post. And thus, a poem by me! .:And Yet, I Love You:. I've never seen you, I'll never know you, And yet, I love you.
I'll never hold your hand, Or wipe away your tears, And yet, I love you.
I'll never hear your voice, Or laugh with you, And yet, I love you.
For me, you'll never cry, But I know your tears are real. My jokes, you'll never know, But I know your mirth is genuine.
I've never seen you, I'll never know you, And yet, I'll always love you.

Fragile Time
Oh fragile time. When roses wilt, though past their prime, an hourglass tilt, will show us they're alive. False roses never wilt, never thrive. What would we be, were we forever? Likely insane, free from earths teather. Without roots, what is rain? If time didn't fly at an eagles pace, I fear the we would forsake the race. Beauty fragile and young, Is just a kiss. And it hurts to leave unsung. But pass swiftly, painfully, sung or no, it's a passing I wouldn't miss.

Yeah. Origionaly, it was a kind of about loving someone you've never seen/meet/talked to at all, and simply loving them for existing! I cut out that stanza though because it sounded kind of bad. Besides, I like it more this way. ^-^
Again, Raist, I feel put to shame by your poetry. lol I really like the last couple of lines.

Do You Promise?
I'm really getting sick of you, but I've decided not to call, call you what you are, if there is a word at all. Our mutual friend says it's neither of us at fault. But I just mentioned why I must take her with a grain of salt. Oh, she says it's something a guy did long ago, and I'm very sorry, though if when you look at me, I'm never who you see, what we had has got to go. Even so! I could be a friend, if you hadn't brought the end, I've met quite a few, not a single one's like you, not at all. They didn't have such gall! By what I mean, is they didn't suddenly tell me not to call, on their ******** answering machine! Oh you promised you were ready to have me, while equally you were mine, but I guess it was a promise, with only my heart on the line.

emo warning...
Flight's Prison
I hope to open my heart... None have ever tried, maybe they're being smart, none in earnest, on either side. I've clearly lost sleep, that all I've yet to voice are products made so cheap, simple tragedy, is a prison door, one I know does not conceal my sob, and yet despite the telltale cries that must cascade through the halls, I see you've yet to touch the knob. A door that none will open, is as locked as one can be, so just as much as opening it, to see, and hear my voice, Is shying from the threshhold of my sorrows your own choice. To run from those who need you, this contract your heart signed. By what your choices render, is an act defined! And the sin of doing nothing, is as black a stain, upon the soul! As is red the flesh that felt the pain, you knew you could control...

And a recent one of mine, not sad.
Moon's Laughing Eye
Moon's laughing eye, seems to know what I'm feeling, when I myself still try. The coin in the ethers isn't for stealing, but it's bought me, when I caught the eye, it caught me. Crazy moonlight, seems to know what I'm about to do, when I'm with people that just met me, and know me more than you, it's the last prop on the set, it makes gamblers make another bet, it makes wolves prowl near the ranch, the mice run when an owl's on the branch, it's quiet and still like me, but we have to move eventually. Madman at the organ, can you play "dischord?" 'cause the stagelight's full to-night, and the audience is bored. In daylight, mischeif is not wise, but when the moon is full, only she has eyes. Foxes in the henhouse, return her silver winks, 'cause they can't talk when the sun is out, and looks for her, and sinks.

This is the angriest one I have, that I can find/remember... Magic Hammer The words mummble And tumble Within my head, Forming sick and twisted Fantacies.
The color of his blood Mixing with the mud, And soaking through his shirt. My pain will End soon.
The meeting of skull And hammer, I will not stammer In my mission. Revenge shall be mine.
The whispers tell me That soon he'll see The Hell he's put me through; That soon we'll know our Heavenly Dream.
A world without fears Or sheaded tears, Where unicorns graze and Dragons carry Warriors to battle.
Whispers mummble And tumble Within my head, Forming visions of My hammer Dashing otu his brains.
And the magic in my Hammer and Me Jump for joy at The thought.
