Ok, I'm not in high school anymore, but I must say the worst part about going to high school in NY was the regents. Agree? The two that killed me were the Chem and Math B, but I did suprisingly well on the Spanish, wich turned out to be sort of a joke.

All Regent's exams are jokes, IMO, expecially the Math B, which was difficult in that it had actual material on it.

As opposed to every other exam, which were all "Can you take multiple-choice question exams?" exams and therefore easy for me.

I have taken all of my regents except for History and Spanish. They were all jokes. Although, I am pretty darn freaked out about my Spanish regents. crying

You'll be OK. It's not a bad test, really.

Remember, momentum equals mass times volume. That's all you really need to know.

Whew, I just took the third part of the History regents. Pchft, it was a joke. I love taking naps after I'm done with the tests because of how much time I usually have left. This time, I finished with 25 minutes left. I brought my big sweater espeacially for a pillow! ;D

Same....I mean, I haven't "officially" taken the regents yet (going into 9th next year), but I've already taken the previous years Regents and have officially passed Math (a and b), biology, earth science, spanish, french (with a horrendously low score but I don't take it so xd ), chemistry (with a horrendoulsy low score but oh well xd ), and that's all the past ones I've taken so far.

And well these state mandated tests ARE a joke. I mean, a 3 hour test takes only 30 minutes IF you check your work...and find that you did get everything right....

Our teachers tell us that it's because we need to be fair to the immigrant children that don't speak english in NYC. I don't know about you, but I did just fine in academics when I didn't know English...which was like until 1st grade....

I'm taking the Math A exam on Thursday, and the Earth Science exam on Tuesday, but my class still hasn't learned everything they need to know for either class, because some people really don't care about grades and stuff. If they wanted, they could just quit the advanced class and go into a regular one, but they must get off on bringing the rest of the class down. D; I haven't taken any Regent's exams as of today, but I can already tell that they're going to be death. The practice exams for the Math A are kinda hard. O;

jeez, I remember when they used to call it course 1, 2 and 3, not math A and B

Math A is super easy....its like....6th grade math....with variables... xd I'm taking 107 (only "advanced" course they offer for 8th grade) which covers 2/3 of the Math A curriculum, although our teacher (SHE'S AWESOME AND I <3 HER!!!) covers the entire curriculum if you actually pay attention.

And lol I have people like that in my "advanced" classes too. Funny story:

So me and my three best friends were in the same team for jeopardy review and we're all super-smart. So the rest of the kids are like, 'THAT'S NOT FAIR!! THEY EACH COUNT AS 2 PEOPLE!!! *spaz*" So our teacher split us apart and put me into another group so there was four of us. So then they're like, "NO FAIR THEY HAVE "FIVE" PEOPLE!!!" And then the tard of our class is like, "I don't count as a person sweatdrop " First grade she got back? A 37 xd
