Well, I just finished watching Episode III...so I got the idea from the end fight. It got me to thinking...

I would definately say Obi-Wan. Anakin is too out of control...he may be more powerful, but he has no control over his power or his emotions, which makes him do really, really stupid things. Even later in life in the final battle between Anakin (as Darth Vader) and the old Obi-Wan...Obi-Wan still wins. He sacrificed himself and gained immortality in the force, thus becoming way more powerful than his apprentice...for a time anyway, until Darth sacrificed himself to save his son.

obi-wan was the best even though anakin has the skills and the insanity like the time he jumps from a moving car in episode 2 ( i think ) or the robot factory defenantly in episode 2 eather way great movie seriese even better video game star wars legos

I wanna play the Legos...well, other than the GBAsp version...I still need to start my PS2 version. Right now I'm stuck on Geonosis with Obi-Wan on my GBAsp version. xp scream EDIT I am now stuck on Kashyyyk with Yoda... sweatdrop

Yeah, Anakin has the insanity and power, but unfortunately that only causes him to do some pretty dumb stuff. And he did have his lightsaber cut in half on Geonosis in Episode II also. stare He has a bad habit of losing or breaking his lightsabers, from what Obi-Wan said. In all of the first three, Obi-Wan only lost one lightsaber in the fight with Darth Maul, compared to Anakin's three known...two for sure in the end of episode II, and at least one in episode III, and from what Obi-Wan said at the beginning of Episode II, Anakin's lost a lot more in his early padawan days.

I would have to go with Obi-Wan. Sure brute force and power can seize the moment, however, it would be the one using his wisdom to wield his powers like a sharpen scalpel that will win the day rather than pounding away with a giant hard to wield hammer that will win the day. Anakin would need to learn the finesse to use his powers like a finally honed blade before he could truly be considered one to overcome one as well trained as Obi-Wan.

I don't care that much for Hayden Christensen xp , I prefer Ewan McGregor whee ...I've been a fan of his since Trainspotting, even though that movie was a bit out there and not much to my tastes (that movie is still a blur to me...I can't get past Ewan McGregor flushing himself down the nastiest toilet in Scotland to retrieve a herion-laced rectal suppository rolleyes ). I think the best Anakin looked in all the movies was when he slaughtered the Seperatists on Mustafar...when his face was half covered and his eyes were yellow...I will admit he does look hot with yellow eyes.

Well, Obi's actor's not that old actually, he's only 7 years older than me, and for a character that's supposed to probably be in his 50's in episode III, he looked very young for that...he still looked in his early 30's to me. On the other hand, I'm older than Anakin's actor (I'm not keen on men younger than me)...and we share the same date of birth rolleyes
