One of the most haunted places in Great Britain. The Shrieking Shack got its name fromt the loud bangs and shrieks that could be heard coming from the boarded up building years ago. The noises were so deafening and haunting, that not even ghosts would go near it. Until recently, noone knew what was making these sounds. We now know that it was a former student, Remus Lupin, changing into his werewolf form. Still, few know the truth, and the Shrieking Shack is still feared by many.
