Description:
Morgan was the son of a man who had himself worked as the Navigator on a fine pirate ship until around the age of thirty-five, when while in port one day he had had a dalliance with a fine red headed Irish woman, and well, Morgan Malone was the end result. His Dad might not have been around a whole lot, preferring to spend his life at sea, but he had come home time and again, and always had a merry tale and a few words of wisdom for his young son.
Of course it was probably that pirates wisdom that turned young Morgan Malone into the mischievous individual that you see before you today, clearly a man of his fathers blood.
He did however have his mothers blood in him as well, Irish blood, and at a young-ish age he had a fair taste for a drink.
It was in one such situation that he first met his closest friend, Gally Kassidy. But theirs was a friendship from an unusual situation.
Morgan had decided, with his fathers consent, and a fairly drunk grunt from his mother as his backing, that he was going to find himself a ship, oh yes it was the pirates life for him indeed! But that was kept a little more hushed,
On this day, he was seated in a bar with a group of his friends, when he stated that it was the life of the sea dog for him! Amidst their queries he, in a state of drunkenness, simply decreed that one day, he would own his own ship, he was sure of it, and in a sudden rush of good humour and excitement he had pointed at the waitress, and decreed her a perfect candidate to be the captains ?friendly? wench.
But apparently, well, judging by the tankard of ale he had tipped over his head, she didn?t agree? and his complaints that naturally had followed, ended up with her losing her job.
Naturally she was displeased with this and had informed him that she would require a position of some note on his ship, when, or more likely if he ever owned it, and thus he found himself with a companion.
