The Prince and her Rose Bride

Appearance: Tall and lithe, she moves with grace whether she wants to or not. Her eyes are a deep blue color filled with innocence and determination. Like many of the other characters, she has lightly colored skin. Tending to keep her hair long and flowing, or tied up at times while at school with a hat over it, giving her a more boyish look. Her hair is colored a light pink color and somewhat layered with many bangs surrounding her face. Not caring to follow the typical dress code at Ohtori Academy, Utena's dresses in the male's uniform. Wearing either a male's black jacket uniform and red biker shorts underneath, or a black and white male's uniform jacket with matching biker shorts, its quite uncommon to find this young lady wearing a dress.
Strength: Prince Dios, The Rose Bride Anthy (Anshii), Most sports, and Fencing
Weakness: Depression, Dishonesty, Her naivety
History/Bio: Utena sadly lost both of her parents at a young point during her childhood, thus now taking residence with her aunt. Wracked with grief due to the sudden lose of both parents, Utena wished that she too, could die so she could join them once again. Unexpectedly, this young girl was saved by a 'Prince', who kissed away her tears and slipped a special ring with a rose onto her slender finger, giving her promises hat the ring would one day lead her to him once again. Inspired by this strange man with a prince like appearance and nobility, Utena began her life somewhat anew. Inspired to become a prince too, her bubbling energy and tomboyish ways gave way to her standing up for others and for what she believed in when she felt things just weren't right. While attending Ohtori Academy, Utena rebelled against the idea of wearing the typical female's uniform; due to the fact she disliked wearing anything remotely close to resembling a dress. Unknowingly, Utena was slipped the role of "Revolutionizing the World"; she ignored the thought unable to fully grasp exactly what it meant. Having come across the lovely Rose Bride 'Anthy', Utena was disgusted by the foul treatment she was given and was full-heartedly now determine to become her Prince and free her. Utena at times, is a bit naive, and tends to fall into traps easily. Kind hearted and always ready for a good challenge, Utena tends to carry a small hint of a mean strike in her that tends to come out sometimes while in a duel. While this unusual schoolgirl's attitude is normally bubbly and warm, when she falls, she falls hard.

Kiryuu Touga:

Appearance: Touga has long red hair nearly to his waist and a pair of the deepest blue eyes ever seen. He seems to simply exude sexuality from every pore... and the fact that he knows it is evident by the self-assured expression he always seems to have on his face. His body is tall and lithe, belying the strength that he really holds. Almost always seen wearing his Student Council uniform, he is always impeccably clean
Strength: Flirting, seduction, getting any girl (or guy!) he wants
Weakness: Protecting his sister Nanami and Utena, the kitten that Anshii gave him for his birthday
History/Bio: Touga is, in every sense of the term, the BMOC - Big Man on Campus. All the girls want to be with him, and all the guys want to be him. He pretty much rules the school as Student Council president. He is also the link between Ends of the World and the Student Council, though he feigns ignorance.
He is quite arrogant and self-assured, but there is a softer side to Touga that rarely gets shown. When he is not under command from Ends of the World to act otherwise, he is quite loyal to his friends. He is, if nothing else, chilvarous and well-mannered... and slightly aristocratic.
On the subject of Nanami... Though Touga is as protective of his sister as an older brother should be, he is really disdainful of who she is as a person. When it comes to Anshii, he is pretty much indifferent toward her. He is not abusive like Saonji - he actually stops his friend from doing so, he's not completely disgusted with her like Juri is, nor is he protective of her like Miki and Utena. The two of them seem to have a mutual understanding that they have goals that they need to attain and have no need to involve the other in any way.
Touga is a total playboy who lives to tease, flirt, and seduce women (and sometimes men!) into getting what he wants. But one woman proves to be his equal and has no problem with deflating his over-inflated ego and slipping away from his grasp. Through it all, Touga keeps his cool demeanor and just keeps trying, even going so far as to claim that he is Utena's prince... a false claim, though he is the one that opened the coffin and led her prince to her... Though he truly loves her, it seems that Touga has harmed any chances he might have had with her by being his egotistical self... or has he?
Saionji Kyoichi:

Appearance: Saionji is currently in his junior year at Ohtori Academy. His hair is a color of dark green, going slightly past his shoulders, to the middle of his back in length, slightly curling at the ends. His eyes are a darker shade of purple, often considered violet. Ho often wears his student council uniform, elegantly pulling off the look, as he desires. Not only looking good in his council uniform, he doesnt look half bad in his kendo training uniform. While training he wears a Kimono-style outfit, with the top being black, and the pants a dark shade of gray. His hair will been seen tied up into a ponytail tied on the top of his head
Strength: Kendo, sword fighting.
Weakness: Anshii.
History/Bio: Growing up the best friend he had, and still has, is a student named Touga Kiryuu. When they were children, Touga and he found a young, pink-haired girl whose name is Tenjou Utena. She laid inside of a coffin, looking dead to the world around her. Fear setting in, Saionji wished to leave the area with haste. There is a sweet side hidden inside his hideous outer form. It is just that his sweet side is hardly ever shown to anyone, if any. The only person that truly knows how it is he feels inside is Anshii. She learned from keeping an exchange diary between the two of them. His written words soft and sweet, yet the spoken words, vile, offending, and downright not appropriate in any way. Hearing him talk, or seeing the way he acts, people have learned to think of Saionji Kyoichi as a heartless, crude, rude, lonely, son of a b***h.

Appearance: Juri is 16 years old with long curly orange hair. She wears a student council uniform that consists of a white and regal collared shirt with orange slacks and black shoes. When not seen in council uniform, Juri is often wearing her fencing gear, which consists of a black mesh helmet, white jacket with blue sleeves, thick white gloves with high cuffs, blue pants that cut off at the knee, white knee high socks and flat white fencing shoes. Juri is rarely seen without her signature gold locket around her neck.
Strength: Fencing, determination, status.
Weakness: Shiori, her emotions.
History/Bio: Juri is the fencing captain and member of the student council at Ohtori Academy. She had learned her fencing skills from the former fencing captain Ruka Tsuchiya, and loved a girl by the name of Shiori. When Shiori had betrayed Juri's feelings, leaving her love unrequited, Juri refused to let her broken heart mend and dawned on a stone cold mask in order to shield herself from the world. She rejected the idea of letting things go and burned sentimental meaning into objects and places, like her locket or the place where she and Ruka trained together, when real people or feelings fail her. Juri fears being vulnerable, ever the fencer even out of uniform, Juri constantly remains "en garde," refusing to let anyone past her defenses. She doesn't want to appear weak or powerless and intimidates people, aiming to repel them. Not only does she scare fellow classmates, but the teachers as well. While wearing her mask she is merciless, cynical, bitter, stubborn and rational. She is a difficult person to get close to and she is all about appearances. Her hair is perfect and controlled, as is her stance, her clothing, and her walk. Without saying a word she can enter a room and awe the crowd with her beauty, or frighten them with a single icy glare. She can don a fencing uniform and a sharp stare and command the immediate respect of her teammates, or drape herself in a silky, ruffly robe and stun a companion with her startling femininity. Jury is so good at making people believe in the reality of her appearance that her elders fear her and her closest friends are often unaware of her true emotional state. Juri refuses to break her mask because if she does she will become vulnerable to both those she hates and those she loves. She prefers to endure the pain of remaining closed than risk the defeat that could come with showing her true face. She put all her effort and yearns for what cannot be attained. For as long as she keeps it inside herself, she can enjoy the thrill and pain of love without the fear that someone might take it away. In Juri's privately displays, she shows her romantic nature by dressing up glamorously to brood alone by the fountain late at night, screening her elegance and feminine beauty. She is prideful, determined and strives in everything she does. Those who have managed to weasel their way past Juri's emotional armor have seen a softer side. Juri does occasionally drop the act to show someone warmer beneath. Most often this is in front of Miki, whom she can relax around and joke with, often displaying her dry witty humor. Appearance: Like all members of the student council, Miki wears a white ceremonial shirt along with a pair of blue uniform pants and black school shoes. The only time he is out of council attire is when he is in participating in the school's fencing club. During practice he wears the standard fencing uniform. He is 13 years old in grade 7 and has short blue hair that is neatly combed. He is sometimes seen clicking his stopwatch and recording it at random times. He is the youngest member on the student council.
History: Miki is well liked by many girls on campus. He is sweet, kind-hearted, gentle, and has a lot of self-discipline. He's very well rounded student, excelling in art, sports and academics. He is a recognized and talented piano player who composes music, he fences at a national level and is very successful in his studies at school. Though he exceeds in everything he does, he is modest about his own achievements. He enjoys helping his fellow friends and students and rarely shows hatred towards anyone. He is dignified and is very polite. He is also protective and does not enjoy seeing others get hurt. He treats all of his peers and fellow student council members with respect. He admires and respects Utena and is always friendly with her. He disagrees with Saionji's ethics but shows gives him the same respect he gives to all upperclassmen. He and Touga seem to share mutual respect and he feels comfortable enough to confide in him sometimes. He has a bit of a crush on Anthy and seems less-than-eager about Nanami, but is kind enough not to bring it up. Miki is a true friend to Juri and sees her as a mentor and good friend. In fencing, he and Juri are well matched as friendly competitors. When he was younger, Miki and his sister Kozue used to play duets on the piano. This was the happiest time of Miki's life and he blames himself for it ending so abruptly. He and his sister Kozue were intended to play at a piano recital but when Miki fell ill and couldn't attend, his sister was publicly embarrassed and this threw a wrench between their relationship. Miki lost his happiness and yearns to find that special something to bring it back. He seems content with his life and doesn't appear to be troubled over gaining the power to revolutionize the world like his fellow student council members.

Appearance: Nanami has beautiful platinum blond hair with her fringe braided in 'Japanese princess' style. She is of medium height with large pale violet eyes and a rather high rounded forehead. Nanami is the only duelist to fight with 2 swords. She has a dagger hidden as well which she will use, regardless of whether it's honourable to do so not or not. Honour has never been issue with Nanami, even in the dueling arena. Her only aim to get what she wants - just like a spoilt brat.
Strength: 3 girl minions, 3 boys minion, Tsuwabuki Mitsuru, Schemer, never gets her own hands dirty.
Weakness: Kiryuu Touga
History/Bio: Kiryuu Nanami is Touga's little sister. Even from a very young age, Nanami only lived to make her brother happy. And also to keep any other person or thing (even a poor little cat) away from her brother. After all, he's HER brother after all and Touga belongs only to her. Nanami is something to be reckoned with on campus. She is rich, beautiful and has (ocassionaly not so) good fashion sense. She is the ultimate social butterfly; organizing great parties and successfully being a star of it in every one. She once has a crush on Kaoru Miki. But sadly, Miki has got a crush on Himemiya Anthy instead. And of course, poor Anthy was made to suffer. Nanami was also the acting President of the Student Council when her brother was missing in action.

Appearance - Ruka Tsuchiya is almost always seen in council or fencing uniform. His fencing attire is the same as the other students of the fencing club and his council uniform is typical, wearing a white shirt, white pants and white shoes. He is tall and slender with purple/lavender hair and violet eyes. He is 17 and in grade 11.
History/Bio - Ruka was a former student at Ohtori who was the captain of the fencing club and good friends with Juri. It was he who taught her how to fence, and she was his star pupil. He readily acknowledged that her talent with the sword far surpassed his, and hoped one day to bring out that potential to its fullest. However, Ruka was forced to leave Ohtori after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. Ruka was hospitalized and took a year off school. Fortunately, Ruka is fully recovered from his illness (though sometimes experiencing minor setbacks) and has returned to Ohtori Academy. What he likes most about Ohtori is enjoying the carefree student lifestyle. He is a duelist and has resumed his position on the student council. He is old friends with the members of the council and treats them with respect. He and Juri have an extremely close friendship and knows her very well. Ruka is a man of power, prestige and admiration. He is intelligent yet manipulative with a flair for dramatics. Girls around campus love him for his very healthy and his masculine-in-control charisma which reflects on everyone around him. Ruka fits the fencer stereotype by being very honorable and chivalries. Of course, Ruka is no saint and uses his sensual and sexual aura as a tool of manipulation. He is greedy and does not hesitate to use people as stepping-stones to gain and pursue his goals, hurting many people and sometimes himself in the process. Ruka is known for concocting well thought out in-depth schemes in order to strive for his goals. He has unbreakable determination. Aside from that, his friendship with Juri means a great deal to him because Juri is his love interest. They share the common bond that they are both suffering inwardly from what seems to be an incurable pain. Though he is unsure if Juri shares the same feelings for him, Ruka duels in order to win the power of miracles for the one he loves.

Appearance: Kozue is thirteen years old, and stands at a height of five feet three inches. Her hair is much like her brother's cut, kept cropped short. Kozue tends to keep her sapphire colored hair in a sort of odd feathered arrangement amongst her head. Her bangs appeared to be layered and somewhat cover her eyes, while the back looks to be sort of swept back into two softly feathered looking points giving her appearance an even more devious one. Although her eyes are a deep set turquoise color, they still are a close shade resembling Miki's. Where his are soft and gentle, Kozue's are more slanted and devious looking, rarely looking anything but hard and cruel. Her skin coloring also seems to differ ever so slightly when compared to her brother's, she being slightly paler. Her ears are pierced a single time whereas she normally wears a small pair of turquoise colored stud earrings. While the Black Roses uniforms vary depending upon the person, Kozue's is a midnight blue color complete with red trimming on the cuffs, collar and down the front alongside the shirt edge. This outfit is complete with gold buttons, trimming on one of the three shoulder straps, and completely covers the other two straps. She wears white pants and black shoes.

Weakness: Miki, feelings of loneliness and depression
History/Bio: Kozue was once quite close to her twin brother Miki, whereas they would play piano with one another, and shared a nightly ritual. Miki would prepare a glass of warm milk for the two of them before bed in two glasses. One glass was marked with a 'K' for Kozue, where Miki's was marked with an 'M'. Although Kozue had never been very good at anything she really did, she was the complete and utter opposite of her twin. He was the one who excelled in everything and anything he tried at. Still, happy to play beside her brother on the piano, she never really had any skill at it at all; Miki would be the one who would mask her atrocious music. Sadly, her time with her brother came to an end when one night they were to perform with one another onstage. On that fateful night, Miki had fallen ill leaving Kozue alone and quite embarrassed onstage. That night had been the night that pretty much ended their close relationship and sent them on their separate ways. After the twins' arrival at Ohtori Academy, it was Kozue who had become known as the popular Seventh grade 'Serial Dater'. Easily able to influence and attach herself to the opposite sex, it was all a desperate attempt for her to once again be noticed by her dear brother. Kozue is a dangerous and jealous girl. She dislikes it greatly when other females give Miki attention and will stop at nothing to end the infatuation. It is even rumored that Kozue's jealousy runs so deep, that she had pushed a teacher down the stairs because she thought that she was getting too close to Miki.
After being discovered by Mikage, Kozue's angered was fueled by Mikage's encouragement and prodding on her inner feelings about Miki. Being given a black rose, Kozue's feelings have become a sort of blind hate for the Rose Bride, thus landing her a position amongst the Black Rose Duelists and leading her on to pursue her single goal. Well aware of her brother's 'crush' on the Rose Bride Anthy, Kozue is determined to win her as her own and kill her. Her fencing style is surprisingly much like her brother's, if not almost identical. Kozue hopes that one day that the feelings and memories of the past will once again come back in her life where Miki and she can once again be happy with one another.
Takatsuki Shiori:

Appearance: Shiori has innocent violet eyes. Her hair is almost up to her shoulders and slightly wavy. Shorter than Juri , Shiori is usually in her school sailor uniform. She has a rather bewitching smile, not because she is flirty like Kozue but members of the opposite might find themselves compulsively wanting to protect her for the innocence and vulnerability she projects out.
Strength: The knowledge of who is in Juri's locket, mask of innocence, discreet manipulation
Weakness: Juri's superiority, need for attention
History/Bio: Shiori has always been living in Juri's shadow. Juri is smarter, more talented, more beautiful, part of the student council, fencing club captain, respect, admired and popular. There is nothing that Shiori can beat Juri hands down. Until the opportunity came in the form of Ruka Tsuchiya. Shiori thought wrongly that Juri loves Ruka and her logic was that, "If I can get the man that Juri wants, maybe I'm better than her!" So she went about seducing Ruka, thinking that it would hurt Juri terribly and that she would have an upper hand at last. What she didn't expect was that in the process, she fell for Ruka herself while Ruka rejected her. The break up was hard on Shiori. She was back to her inferiority complexes and was quite depressed. Until, of course, when she found out about the person who was in Juri's locket all along: herself. That gave her the leverage she needed. She seduced Juri and stole her sword and became the black rose duelist.

Appearance: Mitsuru is a pretty short little kid, only coming up to Nanami's chest. He has shortish deep blond hair that's somewhat messy, large aqua eyes, and an almost heart shaped face. He's pale and cute in a feminine way with thin arms & legs and a small thin torso.
Strength: Nanami - wants to be her big bro
Weakness: Touga - is Nanami's big brother >.>
History/Bio: Mitsuru is an only child and he comes from a loving family, his mother is a housewife and his father runs a small business in their hometown. His parents only wanted the best exducation for their only son so they applied for him to go to Ohtori academy a year before he was supposed to go to school. His parents were thrilled when he was accepted and so did everything they could to prepare him for it, causing him to lose much of his playtime that year. Ever since the first time he saw Touga save Nanami he has wanted to grow up and become her big sister, an odd thing since he can never be her big brother.
His inability to be Nanami's big brother is most likely what spurred him into becoming a Black Rose Duellist, fighting to gain control of the rose bride so that he can grow up and become Nanami's big brother and savior.

The Gods
Dios:

Appearance: He is mostly seen in a white suit that resembles what the Ohtori Academy's Student council wears. His white suit is covered by a cloak that is also white with red inards. From the tip of his head, to his toes, his skin is a pure tan complexion, just as Akio. His eyes are green like emeralds, and his hair is a shade of white. Looking at him, it is obvious why young girls thought of him as their prince.
Strength: Inspiring Utena to become a prince, and learn how to use the power to bring about the revolution.
Weakness: He must rely on others to do what her needs to have done, to bring about the Revolution
Quote: "Don't ever lose your noble heart."
History/Bio: Before his passing Dios lived with his sister Anshii. At the time he was known to rescues other's daughters from death. After some time went by, Dios fell terribly ill. Anshii wanted him to remain in his bed, he was hers, and hers alone. After time they could here all the villiagers around their home, calling for Dios's help with their daughters.
When Dios's sister Anshii tryied to tell the villiagers he was too sick to help their daughters, and they should go help their own own daughters. The villagers decided that Anshii was a witch, and she is the one who is at fault for Dios's sickness. Saying she had casted a spell on him. With her not letting them in, the villagers took power into their own hands. They drove one-million swords into her chest. Dios, in an attemp to save his sister, tries to go to the door to save his sister, yet to no avail as he falls just as she to both of their deaths.

Appearance: When people first see Ohtori, some of the things they see is, his wavy, pale lavander colored hair. His tanned conplextion, bringing them to notice just how handsome the most wanted man, by women, and men alike really is. His aqua-marine eyes, draws them into him. His apparel consits of a red button-up dress shirt, with a purple neck tie. His pants are a pair of midnight blue dress pants. Also ocasionally seen in a white uniform that looks familiar to that of the student counsel.
Strength: Manipulating others to his will, getting anything and anyone he wants
Weakness: Not much for weaknesses, if anythingAnshii acting upon her own accord.
History/Bio: Akio is the one man at Ootori Academy that is just as much a playboy, and has more power than Kiryuu Touga... Not to mention having the student body president as well. But he's not above using his power to be more than just a playboy. He gets what he wants or else... even his sister.
Though his true last name is Himemiya, he took the last name of Ohtori when he became engaged to Kanae and became the male heir of the Ohtori clan. And even though he is technically engaged, it is an engagement of convenience - his true desire is none other than Tenjou Utena.
The Dean of Students was also once Dios, only where the young prince was an angel and representative of all that is good, Akio is the exact opposite. He is the Ends of the World, the seemingly invisible force that sends messages to the student council, a force that pretty much caters to his every whim with no one realizing it - outside of Touga.
His car is a cherry red Corvette-style car, 'The Akio Car' With a white leather interior, and speeds exceeding 500 Kilometers pre hour, or 310 Miles per hour. This car has seen everything, been everywhere, and has seen almost everyones body inside it, including Touga Kiryuu. The car is known immeadeatly when people see it or hear its engine.

Appearance: Mikage has the same cotton-candy pink coloured hair as Utena and violet eyes. He wears a mock-uniform, much like that of the student council. It is a dark blue class shirt with red trimming, white slacks and black dress shoes. Sometimes he is seen wearing light purple tint shades as well.

Past: Mikage was originally known as Professor Nemuro, a genius student who became a professor at Ohtori Academy. He was dry and computer-like, constantly focusing on his work even though he was uninspired by it. It was the arrival of Tokiko Chida that invokes a change in Nemuro. She was sent in to direct the research at Ohtori and soon began a friendship with Professor Nemuro. When Nemuro began to open up to Tokiko's friendship, he realizes what has been missing in his life - family. Now with the ability to love and a passion for life, Nemuro plays a surrogate father to Tokiko's younger brother Mamiya and it soon becomes obvious that Nemuro is in love with Tokiko. With these new feelings, Nemuro broke his shell and was no longer the dry computer-man he once was. Fueled with passion, he threw himself into his research. Due of the Mamiya's sickness, Nemuro was furiously driven toward something eternal by desire to make Tokiko happy through saving Mamiya. When Akio appeared and offered Nemuro a rose signet ring, he told him that this is a symbol of the contract he held with hundreds of youths working on the research and invited Nemuro to do the same. Then Akio vanishes, the boy professor chases down the hall and sees that which makes his ideals reverse - Tokiko in a passionate embrace with Akio. It was in that moment he placed the ring on his finger to seal the contract. By placing the ring on his finger Nemuro became part of the Eternity Project and had one hundred youths under his supervision. After having his feelings betrayed by Tokiko and being exposed to Akio's manipulations, Nemuro set fire to Nemuro memorial hall with the hundred youths trapped inside. That infamous fire that burned down Nemuro Memorial Hall is a legend at Ohtori Academy. Nemuro felt as though this sacrifice was necessary to grasp something eternal and gain the power to revolutionize the world. From that day forward, Nemuro was reborn into darkness and is now known as Souji Mikage.
Present: Currently, Mikage hosts seminars at the Nemuro Memorial Hall and is the leader of the secret organization called the Black Rose Duelists. He is quiet, mysterious, secretive, aloof, and intelligent. He plays upon peoples emotions to bring out their deeper, darker natures and twists them to his advantage. In a sense, Mikage is much like a puppet master. In school he excels in his studies and often helps fellow classmates by tutoring them. He acts friendly toward most people but will never form a strong relationship with them. He has passion and determination for his work and research, and pursues the goals for the Black Rose with full force. Mikage is plagued by his memories and feelings of the past. No one knows that he was once Professor Nemuro.
He and the Black Rose Duelists are looking for a different revolution. Mikage believes that a sacrifice is necessary in order to gain the power of Dios so he fights in order to win the Rose Bride so he can kill her. He believes that this is the only way he can finally grasp something eternal.

Appearance: When she''s not in her school or baseball uniform, she will usually be found in comfortable, American-style clothing - her favorite staple being the black sun-glasses that she almost always has with her, whether or not she needs to wear them over her eyes or not. She has full, thick hair just like her brother''s, though hers tends to naturally wave... she also happens to have the same pair of mesmerizing blue eyes. Outside of the fact that she''s female and a couple of inches shorter than her brother, she''s pretty much identical in every way... right down to the hidden store of strength that no one would really expect of either of them.
Strength: Juri as inspiration, leading the Order, confidence, and a strong sense of what is wrong or right in the bigger picture of things... She''s not really against smaller indiscretions that don''t really effect things in the end.

Awards Won: She has won various awards for her good grades, but the ones of which she is most proud are an assortment of awards from baseball championships - three of which while she was a player at Ohtori, drumming awards - including her certificate for graduating the drumming school, a scattered few ribbons from small billiards tournaments, and several runner-up and first place trophies from fencing tournaments. All of these are on display in her room at the Order of the Rose house.
Other: When it comes to what she''s good at, Yuna can be every bit as arrogant as her brother. On the weekeneds, she has even taken to slipping away from campus, unseen, and being something of a pool shark.
History/Bio: Yuna discovered a passion for drumming at a very young age, and her family complied and encouraged her by agreeing to let her go to a special school in America. It was hard for her to leave behind her twin brother, but she did so eventually to follow through with her passion. It was arranged for a family over there to take care of her.
While she was in America she flourished in her passion for drumming, but also became rather obsessed with fencing, baseball, and billiards later on. Becoming a tomboy was a natural transition as she hung out with all the guys in her fencing club from whom she learned billiards, and the fact that she ended up on a boy''s baseball team because she refused to play softball. It was when she had been in America for nearly a decade when the twelve-year-old Yuna discovered that her twin was no longer with her parents, and hadn''t been for some time. That news had her quickly oacking her things and heading back to Japan. It took her some time to locate her brother, but just over a year later, she found herself enrolled at Ohtori and desperately searching for her twin.
It didn''t take too long for her to locate the Kiryuu family, but as she saw how happy he seemed with his new family and his new little sister, she withdrew and kept the secret to herself. Adopting the name of her American family, she instead threw herself into her work, joined the Ohtori fencing club and baseball team. It was as a member of the fencing club that she met none other than Juri Arisugawa. She immediately began crushing on her, though she kept that to herself... especially when one she she came upon Juri''s things in a pile as the girl showered, and found a picture of Shiori in the locket that her crush always wore. Through oberservation of the two girls and the boy, she quickly discovered what was going on. From that point forward, she loathed Shiori.
Later on, as she entered her high school years, she continued to observe Juri and Touga from a distance. When she saw the two become members of student council and disappearing on a regular basis, she followed. She discovered the secret duels that they had become involved in. She began forming the idea for the Order of the Rose in her mind, though she never went to the principal''s office with the idea... Until the day she began feeling as if some force were compelling her forward to join in the duels. She went to the principal and gained permission to form it. It ran under its official rules and purpose that she had agreed upon with the principal - to be a badge of honor for those extraordinary students who wanted to become members. She was never really sure of what its true purpose was meant to be, and so never considered allowing someone into the vice president position... until she discovered the existance of the Black Rose Duellists. She then began seeking out the one that would help to lead her in the true battle of the Order of the Rose. The one that would be able to help her to discover what that unheard voice had been trying to tell her.

Appearance: With eyes of garnet and hair of aqua, Chigusa always appears elegant. Her hair is long, and curls at the end, and instead of wearing the school uniform, she will generally be seen in a deep purple top that laces all the way up the front a bit loosely, and a navy blue pair of pants.

History/Bio: Chigusa was actually born in a small town known as Cottingley Village in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom - a town famous for faeries. It was this fact that made the Cottingley Beck Waterfall her favorite play place, and a spot where parents were not likely to let their children play. It was in this village that she learned how to fence, her form quite different from anyone else''s at Ohtori. But it was also here that her true love of sports came in the form of boxing.
It was also through this sport that she came to fall for a boy two years her senior and already holding the Heavyweight championship when she was in eighth grade. She literally gave up everything to him, anything he asked of her. The two of them spent whatever spare time they had together outside of school, boxing, and various other activities such as her guitar lessons.
It was a tragedy in the beginning of her tenth grade year that took her love away from her. The two of them had been enjoying a break from school and were picnicking at Beck Waterfall, and while walking and climbing some of the rocks, he fell down and ended up dying. Soon after his funeral, she was swift to leave the area and moved to Japan.
Chigusa is now an eleventh grader at Ohtori Academy and most notorious for once burning down the fencing hall. She''s elegant and somewhat aggressive when it comes to getting what she wants. She will be found playing sports along with the guys just as often as one might find Utena competing against them... she also happens to be a member of the Fencing Club, and pretty good at that as well.
Now, there is an entire wall in her room at the Order of the Rose house dedicated to pictures and news articles about her boyfriend and his death... even a single table not too different from a stool that holds a copy of what would have been his senior yearbook, something that a group of his old friends had sent to her. Now she''s seeking the power of revolution in the hopes that she will be able to travel back in time and stop the death of her boyfriend.
(Note: I did alter this character from the original story of Four Days at Ohtori... The fact that her main nemesis was the player makes things a bit awkward to work into the story.)

When not in uniform she can be found in a black leather mini-skirt, short black boots that crinkle at the ankle, and a dark bluish green sweater.

History/Bio: Rina Kyoichi was never really known to anyone at Ohtori, having gone to Britain to be schooled at Eton. Most people think that her last name being Kyoichi is just a coincidence, but she is, in fact, Saionji''s little sister who loves her very much. The only problem is, the last time he talked to her she still admired Touga as much as she had when they were children, and that was something of a devotion. Now her parents have seen fit to send her to Ohtori, something that Saionji was not happy about since he wished to keep her away from Touga and was the reason she''d been sent to Eton in the first place. She has always been at odds with Nanami because she feels she''s cruel and Nanami hates her for being close to her big brother. However, Touga and Rina had not seen each other for many years so no one is really sure what their relationship really is.
At Eton it was a requirement to learn to fence, and so Rina did, mostly aiming to better herself so that when it came time for her to go home she could make Touga proud, her ultimate goal to beat him. Her style, however, is a bit off as she learned traditional kendo along side of her fencing techniques.
Rina''s favorite thing to do is run, her feet almost always carrying her to victory. The few times she was known to have lost a tournament or meet she was later seen running the track until she collapsed. She''d once won a 20 kilometer race because she was the only one who could keep running the entire time.
Not many knew this, but when Saionji was younger he became ill for almost a year, and the only thing that soothed him was the playing of the piano. This led to his little sister taking it up as she often played him to sleep. Something Saionji did not know, however, was that Touga used to stand outside the open window, leaning on the sill, and watch her play.
Rina has never had a significant other as she has always been too focused on her goals for a relationship, this unfortunately left her with but a few friends who were as determined as she was. Despite this, her social skills have managed to come out undamaged. Her problem isn;t getting friends, it''s keeping them. That may change somewhat now that she''s back to where she can watch her brother and Touga, her two idols.
