I figure it might be nice to have a thread where we can talk about music since there's a lot of people who are passionate about it. Talk about what you're listening to lately, your favorite bands, or even a concert coming up that you're stoked about! me? I listen to all different kinds of msuic, but if I were to choose one type overall, it would have to be metal, with the first 3 albums of Metallica being some of my cherished favorites ^_^

Indeed... that reminds me, in the LA Weekly from week before last, I noticed an article about Sublime -- which completely caught me by surprise, because I hadn't even thought about the fact that it's now been ten years since Bradley died.
Anyway, here's the link: http://www.laweekly.com/music/music/if-gods-good-word-goes-unspoken/13590

I've been listening to hyphy music because it's been blaring outside for the past five hours. But I'm trying to block it out, but it's not working. xp

She Wants Revenge System of a Down The Offspring Linkin Park Cake Deftones... once I have time...I, or we should do it... Oh, Social Distortion. xd One of my uncles went to school with them. Apparently he fancied himself a musican for a few months and was "in the group" like... way long before they had any kind of real sound... or musical ability (whether or not they ever got that, of course!). o_O* I remember him talking about that last Christmas. They were going to be playing soon, I think, and he was bemoaning not having kept in touch with them. stressed Um... Beck... the Brian Jonestown Massacre... Richie Valens... just about every 80s hair band that wasn't from New Jersey... Where's Cher from, anyway? I know Sonny was from around here... Ooh, and a Scooby Snack to anyone who can tell me what Cher and System of a Down have in common. ^^
