Yeeeah, I just wanted to know who has parents that like anime, or at least would watch the material that you watch.
My dad isn't really a fan of anime. In fact, he probably would have never let me get into anime/manga if I didn't tell him that Demon Diary wasn't really satanic. rofl He let me get Hellsing because I told him it had to do with religion. <.<;
And my mom, well, she's into anime. She has her bishounen just as any anime fangirl does. She tends to like the pretty boys with long hair. Like Sesshoumaru and Sephiroth. -.-; Grr, she needs to get over them. Er, sorry. xD Rambling.

My mother just considers them to be cartoons, then considers me to be childish for watching them because of my age. rolleyes

My mom thinks of them as "things with the big eyes." But unlike my mom my dad doesn't mind taking me to cons and he is trying to get into it a little. He is supportive in everything I do and this isn't any different.

My mom thinks that they are just cartoons and my dad says that it's just a phase and that anime is scary. Now that I think of it my brother is a big video game fan so he likes some anime not much.

My mom does but my dad doesnt they buys me stuff but my mom watches anime with me. . . sometimes. . .She likes Inuyasha. . .And Ranma. . .And Sailor Moon. . .Oh! and Tenchi In Tokyo. . .yeah

My mom lets me watch anime because she thinks I learn to draw from it. She saw a manga book for the first time and she said, "Wow, isn't that the stuff you like to draw?" She used to let me buy mangas but after about 4 of them she said I was buying too many rolleyes But when I was like 5 my mom would watch Totoro with me....

My parents seem pretty afraid of anime. Mom has this saying when she finds me reading manga or watching anime on youtube.com:
"I'm not gonna ask, I'm afraid of the answer."
My dad is rarely home, so he doesn't care.

My parents don't care about it at all. My mom considers it just a cartoon, too, but my dad couldn't care less. But my sister is whom got me into anime and introduces me into new stuff, and my brother doesn't really enjoy anime much, unless it's in a video game.

My mom sometimes watches some if I put it on but my dad can't stand it. If I am watching it he'll sit down on the sofa and read a book just to annoy me or he'll pretend to fall asleep sad

My mum and dad HATE anime, I THINK that THEY think that really, all it is is abunch of little fictional characters running around screaming "DAMN YOU!!!!" sweatdrop But I think, secretly, my dad wuvs Yuu Yuu Hakusho. ninja Heeheehee..

my parents think that it's a waste of money, but they don't mind that i buy it as long as i think about it and save some money.

lol So very few parents actually like anime. And it's usually the dad who absolutely HATES it. I'm glad my dad doesn't really mind it. But he does say I'll eventually grow out of it. Oh wait, he said that when I was in middle school. xD I'm not growing out of it yet. I think he gave up trying to get me OUT of anime. He never did like how obsessed I was.
