Anyone in favor for art history? I really like art and where it all began. I used ask.com search enguine and found many I like. Do you have a favorite in History? I love Leonardo Devici's work very much. What about you?

Hm... I really like Magritte and Monet. I'm pretty into Surrealism and Impressionism. Although a lot of Renaissance art is pretty amazing as well.

Theodor Kittelsen and DaVinci (his invention sketches), are by far my favorites. I also do enjoy Dali immensely as well.

I am also a big fan of Mr. DaVinci. He was brilliant, talented, centuries ahead of his time, developed a system of backwards-writing so he wouldn't smear his notes due to his left-handed way of doing things, and above all else, he was slightly insane. Although I suppose lunacy is rather a prerequisite for being an artist, isn't it? wink
Other artists I enjoy are Manet, Monet, and Picasso -- yes, Picasso. I like the way he interprets his ideas, even if they mean your nose is on your foot and your ear is on your tummy. Art history is so much fun, and while my high school doesn't offer any courses on it, I can't wait until college when I have to take it. Rhetorically, who doesn't find this subject fascinating?
