I have been discussing with a few people the virtues of Pockyism and yan-yan was brought up. Personally, I believe it is an abomination and a shameless poser of a candy and does not deserve to even be in the same sentence as Pocky. What do you think of it?

I don't really care for yan-yan all that much. It's just not the same as pocky, to me at least. I'm not saying it's horrible. It's what I buy when I really want Pocky but don't have the time or finances to drive the halfhour it takes to get some, then I run (drive) quick to the grocery store and get yan-yan. I'ts ok, but it's not the best thing i've ever tried.

I've had Yan Yan and it is delicous....and the closest thing I could come to pocky at the time. I don't see why it shouldn't be considered as good as pocky when it tastes so good.

Yan Yan's aren't pocky but, their still good. My local super market carries both pocky and Yan Yan's so i usually go for the pocky because their not that much difference in price either.

actually i think the frosting stuff is too sweet... pocky frosting is much more balanced......[didn't that sound so professional? X3] but i sometimes wish i can dip pocky in frosting like i can with yan-yans
