Paul Brandt is, in my opinion, one of Canada's finest talents. Though his music is no longer released outside of Canada - as happens with the majority of Canadian country artists, it seems - he keeps on growing as an artist. His latest album is This Time Around and includes a cover of the song Convoy (originally by C.W. McCall). I first saw Paul perform at Canada Day Jam in 2004 and a second time when he came to my hometown in November of the same year. He was a very kind man and put on a great concert. Anyone else enjoy Paul Brandt? http://www.paulbrandt.com/

I just order CDs online. "This Time Around" is very good. I have mine. I've been a fan of Paul since the start. I'd love to see him, someday. He's close to my age and really seems quite nice and outgoing. smile

It's great that CDs can be ordered online now. It certainly must help a lot of people out with listening to music and finding their favourite artists. It's really great that you're still a dedicated Paul fan even though he doesn't release music in the US any more.

I was hooked from the very first time I saw Paul. Though his music had always been around my house and I had always seen his videos on CMT (in fact, My Heart Has a History is the first video I ever remember seeing by any artist) and I enjoyed the music, it took actually seeing Paul live to make me realise the talent he had. He is very fun to watch and connects with an audience well.

I really like the website. I also like that the interview on there is Aaron Lines ( wink ). It's a neat idea and a well-organized site... I'll have to do even more looking around on it.

That's the preview of the brand new PaulBrandt.com smile I got a link from the message board at the main site. I post there all the time. It's how I keep up so well from down here.
New news. Paul has a new Christmas CD due out this year. Next year is the date for the next country CD. No ETA yet, it's early.

Tillisnut That's the preview of the brand new PaulBrandt.com I know. And it looks really good. My only hope is that it's able to be updated more than the old site. Tillisnut I got a link from the message board at the main site. Me too. And the e-mail update, and Aaron Lines' board. Tillisnut I post there all the time. It's how I keep up so well from down here. Me too, again. Only, I read more than I post, but I'm always lurking around the board. I'm looking forward to the CDs - the country one moreso... and really looking forward to the new Christmas special that's supposed to air this year.

I've been lurking around the website since I found out he had one in 2001, I think. Makes me want to update mine again now. I do what when I get to it. I have all my pages linked from there and the link is the one on my profile for website. The new message board is nice. It's different, but easier to follow than having everything in just 1 area like the old one. As soon as I can, I'll get the new albums. I have the Christmas CD and will likely add the new one this year if it's available online somewhere. I'm really looking forward to the country CD next year as well.

He was my father's nurse back when he used to work at the old Alberta Children's Hospital. My dad got surgery done on his shoulder there and let me tell you, hes really sweet (I was like 3 at the time lol, but he was very nice)

The next album has been pushed back to September now. At least that's what I read over at his forum. It will be worth the wait. smile
