I found an all Kratos guild (Only 8 members... That's kind of sad, I'd join them, but I don't need to because it's public, =D), and there I posted what I'm about to reiterate.
After thinking for a long while, I got on the idea that nearly all of the events in Symphonia could have been PREVENTED. And guess who's fault it is? Eyep, it's Kratos, the guy who couldn't fight back. I mean, you're twice the freakin' brats age, plus an extra 4K, kill the little snot-ball.
Anyways, what I really wrote: Kratos is a pansy. A complete moron who is easily controlled by a brat.
Let's think for a second...
Who SOLELY has the pact with Origin? Kratos
Who MADE the Eternal Sword? Origin, right?
Therefore, Kratos is actually the eternal sword's owner. He just can't wield it because he's not a half-elf. That being said, why didn't Kratos just tell Origin to destroy the eternal sword? Or at least take it away from Mithos? I mean, Origin was pissed he made the damn sword in the first place, why not just take it back?
But nooo, Kratos gets all emo and goes, "OMG ANNA DIED I HATE MY LIFE!!" and just goes back to Mithos to be a pushover yet again.
I mean, get rid of the Eternal Sword, you get rid of part of Mithos' power, he becomes a complete weakling (though he was one to begin with) and Kratos can easily kill him.
And since Angels are TECHNICALLY Cruxis Crystal enhanced Half-Elves, Kratos has SOME elven qualities hidden in there somewhere because he's an angel. So at the very extreme, Kratos could have wielded the freakin's sword, and killed Mithos.
WHY DIDN'T HE DO THAT?! I mean, that's a much quicker and not to mention safer plan then letting someone you thought was your enemy but is actually your son do all the work for you.
I mean, Kratos could have prevented nearly all of the events that happened, why DIDN'T HE?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Discuss, approve of what I just said, or bash me up the wahzoo because I made boo-boo to your precious Kratos.
Hey, he was my favorite character in ToS till Yuan. So I can do this if I want, =P.
SACRED POWER CAST YOUR DIVINE LIGHT ON THESE CORRUPT SOULS REST IN PEACE SINNERS----
*RIP*
Lloyd: WTF? Kratos judgemented himself! Mithos: He sinned, >=D Origin: Pansy Lloyd: *Whacks Origin with Paper fan* Origin: OMG I BROKE A LEG!!! OR FOUR!! Lloyd: OW!! Zelos: Shut up shrimp Yuan: INDIGNATION!! Everyone but Yuan: ********: I win, =D
8 members?...That is kind of sad...XD
Because I'm bored (of studying for finals; who really wants to read about Chemistry anyway? ^^;; ), I'll debate you on this. (Since Kratos is my favorite male character is ToS.)
Ahem.
Yes, it's true that Kratos probably could have prevented everything that happened.
But just because he didn't doesn't mean he's a pansy. (okay, maybe a little weak...whatever.)
Mithos was Kratos' apprentice and close friend. I don't think he would have just killed him off like that. If a close friend of yours was doing something really, really stupid, would you kill them over it? (I sure hope you wouldn't) The most you'd probably do is take them by the shoulders, shake them really hard and yell, "HEY! YOU'RE BEING A FREAKING IDIOT! KNOCK IT OFF!" scream If you chose Kratos in Flanoir, up in Derris-Kharlan, he did say that he wished he'd done something sooner...
As for Anna...well, I can't say much about that because...because...I'm tired and can't think. (I'll come up with something eventually. XD)
(Stupid finals. I wouldn't be so tired if I didn't have to study...)
...yeah, but he didn't even do THAT to Mithos.
And Kratos was the one who kept going, "I should die I've lived too long." Wouldn't he think the same of Mithos?
I mean, regardless who you choose in the end, Kratos has no, or at least shows no, remorse or regret for Mithos' death. Only his actions which he'll finish on his own.
I need to go back and listen to the Drama CDs again. Kratos and Yuan were talking about Mithos in one of the tracks. (I forget what they were saying, so...)
That's sad. A guild dedicated solely to Kratos Aurion: Members, 8. Seriously, what can you talk about in that guild other than "OMG!0n3 Kratos is teh SEXXORSlololollercaust!!!!!!!!1", and, his role in the game?
You're right, KirbyVolt.
Kratos makes me laugh, now. Why did I EVER like him over Zelos? *thinks* Oh yeah, I thought he was hot. ...
...
I still like what he says during Judgement though. Okay, whatever. I think I'll join that Kratos thing and talk about Zelos till I get banned. *goes over*
*gets banned*
Me: ******** you! scream
I don't remember anyone ever saying Kratos had any sort of command over Origin. Mithos was the summoner, not Kratos. He was just the key to Origin's seal.
Dear god, I'm defending a Symphonia character...
Exselser I don't remember anyone ever saying Kratos had any sort of command over Origin. Mithos was the summoner, not Kratos. He was just the key to Origin's seal. Dear god, I'm defending a Symphonia character... Then why does Kratos SOLELY have the pact with Origin? If Mithos can summon Origin, that means that Mithos has SOME involvement, which they pretty much stated over and over he didn't. Kratos has his cruxis crystal, he can so summon, =P.
I never once heard anyone say Kratos had a pact with Origin, just that Mithos created a seal that used Kratos' life as a key.
Exselser I never once heard anyone say Kratos had a pact with Origin, just that Mithos created a seal that used Kratos' life as a key. Uh... Kratos mentions it, A LOT. He really does go, "I HAVE THE PACT WITH ORIGIN!!" Okay, not like an idiot, but he does say it. If it really was MITHOS' pact, wouldn't he haved kept a tighter tab on it? I mean, the whole reason why he had Kvar chase after Kratos and Anna was because Kratos was the seal. That being said, the seal is broken Origin is no longer under anyone's control. That being said, Mithos couldn't have the pact then, because if the seal was broken, Mithos would still have the pact with Origin because HE made it, not Kratos.
