Kaira finally stopped running. She had run for...how long? All night, it seemed, it was dawn... She finally sat down, her back to a tree. She began crying, for what had happened to her. Not only that, but for what she had done...

Adnix wasn't used to wandering yet.
It wasn't that he couldn't handle himself quite well: he had learned long ago how to hunt and defend himself. He decided he was too used to people, so he had headed to the larger wilderness of America to get on his own. But after several long days of boredom, he decided maybe some company might help. He just wouldn't put his trust in anyone. On his way to one of the so-called 'were-towns,' he thought he heard someone crying. He went near her, but remained in hiding, trying to see what the girl was crying about. She was a Kitsune, so he knew better than to come near her.

She finally stopped. She was just out of tears...
She sensed something nearby. "Hello?" she said, "Anybody there?" She had heard stories about what was in the wilderness...
Had she really gone that far?
