If you've only seen the Cartoon Network version of One Piece, then boy are you missing out. About thirty episodes worth of footage has been cut, including entire characters (Crocus, Laboon, Dorry and Brogy) and entire story arcs (Little Garden, the Red Line arc), for no reason at all. Also, some name changes-
Smoker was changed to Chaser and had his cigars edited out
Portgas D. Ace to Portgaz D. Trace (maybe the lamest change)
Roronoa Zoro to Roronoa Zolo (the only character name change that's also in the English manga)
Nefertari Cobra to Nefeltari Nebra
Loguetown to Roguetown
ALL of Sanji's attacks were given lame names (Anti-Manner Kick Course to Prime Cut Kick)
Mihawk's sword, Sanji's cigarette, and all blood and violence were edited out. Nami's mom Bellemere being shot to death was edited to her being 'sent to the dungeon', Kuina falling down the stairs and getting killed was changed to her 'being sent to the hospital'. All of the guns are either changed to super soakers, cork guns, or bright green guns that shoot 'lasers'.
So BASICALLY, if all you've seen is the English version then you've seen nothing. Just felt that you guys were pretty cool fans, and deserved to know the truth. Don't believe me? Check out the links in my sig.

i don't think you can blame them though. If they can't get the sub then they can't get them. You can't acctualy say "Get it or die" that's not fair. you know??
((of course the Sub is better. now if you watched the DUB and STILL said the Dub was better, you got problems....))
i really dislike how they change their diolog. They will say something stupid in the dub, like a joke or something. and its horrible.

Yeah ^^' But with easy-to-use scanlation sites, it's not too hard to get te original.

When I watch any of my 14 Godzilla films (all are dubbed), I watch it with both dubbed and subs just to see the differences/mistakes they make. Trust me, there's a lot of them.

but have you seen that new kingkong movie? now that was an amaze work.
