Seriously, talk about letting your subconsciousness take over you, my 6/6/06 (which would make it 6606 too) went brilliantly, my science exam was piss easy neutral .

Best theory so far involves the Roman Emperor Nero. And it's likely that it's supposed to be a mark, as everyone who barters and trades eventually will get it on their forehead or hand. Then again, the Beast is supposed to be pretty covert so it may be more difficult to figure out.

In England I heard about oooh... three people say something or mention it. When The Omen was released people said "oh how clever" at the release date but that's about it. I hope people actually read up on it though, that and the fact that in all the other 6/6/06 days haven't had anything happen on them either. It's all in your head! *waves hands spookily*

There were some people who tried to make some historic person seem like the devil. But the name was Greek, which is a language that isn't numerical like Latin or Hebrew (they use leters as numbers), so they translated it to Latin, and the number that resulted was 616, not 666. That why there are a few people who go around saying that the beast's number is really 616, or that it was just political but the number isn't changed. Not saying it couldn't have been 616 or political....
And 06/06/06 was a pretty good day for most everyone who didn't freak out about it.
