Irihi Mountain, a mountain who's peaks reach to the heavens as legends say. Legends? It is because there has been no living soul that has reached its highest peaks and lived to tell the tale. Upon hearing this, dragons often have come to test these rumors, but were usually never seen again. Now, at its deserted base, stood a young dragon. Her proud form stood on the rocky ground, looking up to the cloudy skies from where the peaks disappeared from view. Her angel-like chibi wings twitched in eagerness, and her eyes sparked with anxiety. Today was the day she was going to fly. Fly as high as no other dragon had ever flown before. Ever since Shoujo had been born into this world, she had one dream, and that was to fly high. Other earth dragons could not even think of ever leaving the ground, but with her wings, she had a chance, and she would prove to this sky soaring dark, wind, and light dragons that earth dragons were just as good in the skies. Crouching, she took off. Her legs were pressed against her own body for speed as she flew high, this was her dream, and she was going to achieve it.

*The mountain was soft and very cold... it wasn't the fact the mountain was a dark and daring one... most dragons didn't make it becasue of air lack and the fact it was just to cold... even for ice dragons....*

Noticing that this was the case, after about half an hour, of nothing but flying higher and higher, she slowed down. Hovering in mid-air, and panting from the lack of oxygen, she looked up and noticed the cliffs still seemed to keep going higher and higher. Shoujo tucked her legs back in toward her body and flew straight up for a few more minutes before landing heavily onto a nearby cliff. Her breath could be seen because of how cold it was. Shoujo lay down, pulling her talons beneath her as she shivered, her breathing still irregular, but slowing back to normal pace. The snow fell from the misty sky, and she could feel her tail becoming buried beneath the thin layer. Laying her head on her paws, the cold-ness clouding her judgement, she felt like just drifting off for a bit, not noticing that the pads under her claws beginning to freeze. Standing up suddenly, she looked down, this wasn't good. She wouldn't last much longer this high up if she just went to sleep, and enternal sleep. Sighing, she lifted her seemingly heavy body from the snow and began her descent, deciding that she could reach the top tomorrow maybe. She was just too tired at the moment.

Shoujo slowed her flying to a slow glide, her wings outspread. Her eyes scanned the landscape, she felt uneasy, as if another was watching her. Seeing nothing, she continued to glide slowly, quietly thinking to herself, what am I worrying about? There's no one here left, they've all just disappeared says the legends...
Shaking her head as if to dismiss these odd thoughts, she quickened her pace once again, feeling a bit down on how she had failed to fulfill her dream... For now anyway. She was going to try again, keep trying until she achieved. Her parents had always taught her to never quit. Just keep trying, they'd always say. Whenever they were there that was.
Taking one last look at the high cliffs of the mountain, she landed onto a large rock at the base gracefully, looking up at the mountain in wonder. What was at it cliffs? Nothing but snow she imagined, but what if there was something, something that all dragons had always been searching for? That's just silly, I'm just exhaggerating and bringing up my hopes, she thought, but she couldn't help but wonder what lay at its peeks.

Feeling that maybe some of those dragons were just aiming to go to the top just as she did, Shoujo ignored them for a bit. She continued to swim in her pool of thoughts and dreaming of reaching the top when she noticed that these dragons didn't seem to be in a hurry of any sort. The young earth dragon got up and approached the others, "Hello, do you live around here?" maybe these dragons had made it to the top atleast once already, maybe they survived and knew the secret to reaching the mountain's highest peaks. Oh please, a mocking voice screamed in her head. What gave you that lousy idea?

There is a possibility...
She thought to herself and the other voice didn't answer.

Shoujo raised an eyebrow as Paradise smirked, perhaps there weren't many visiters that came here. "Hello, my name is Shoujo. Have..." she hesitated, then went on. "Have you dragons ever gotten to the highest peaks Irihi Mountain?"
She had to admit that she was pretty impressed to see a blue tribe dragons, there was but a small chance that she would ever meet one. Well anyway, to get to the main point, she felt that she was one lucky dragon to be able to meet one face to face. Turning her face to study the other dragons, she ventured to ask, "Do you all live around here?"

Sapphire: Greetings Shoujo... I don't think anyone has made it to the top.... even in the summer it's far to cold on the moutain.... *she poined to all the other dragons* "these dragon are only passing by... I am thier guide..."

Shoujo studied the group in interest, "A guide to the mountain?" Looking back at the top, her mind told her that it would be impossible, but her heart said it was, she was going to make it possible. The saying was right, Mount Irihi was the tip of the moving sun. It just kept going and going, and it almost seemed as though it touched the sun.

"Mind if I just follow along for a bit?" She didn't have much else to do anyhow, and she was hoping to learn a thing or two more about it.
