I was watching the the MTV Diary of Incubus (yeah and I think MTV almost got something right) and they were interviewing Dirk, the "at the moment" bassist of Incubus. It was before their concert and Dirk was going around asking people that would be attending the concert questions about what they thought about Incubus. It was pretty funny because everyone kind of acted like he was just media converage and kind of blew him off. And he didn't seem to mind at all! He actually said he enjoyed being able to go around without recieving any attention. I just thought it was kind of funny considering I almost didnt know who he was either. I also kind of notice he doesnt seem as in sync with the other band members ( from my point of view ). Does anyone else think so, too? And I wish i could play God and just watch a day in their lives from my LazyBoy. They seem like the most relaxed and enjoyable group of guys. I know most of them've been friends since middle/high school but they've stayed pretty strong and unaffected by their success. And my lips are peeling. That's pretty gross neutral
lol one last thing, does anyone know when their next U.S. tour is?~ heart

Haha you know I was thinking the same thing the other day, I watched the Morning View sessions and he seemed not as in tune with the rest of the band. By that I mean he doesn't seem like he is great buds like Mike and Brandon! I agree that they are a very layback kind of group of guys that don't let the fame go to their heads, which is why I think they are great. I always thought that Dirk was a great bassist and I think people should give him some recognition thought. Ben Kenney has proved himself, to me anyways. Just think that he had to learn all the old stuff to play in concerts and such. Well anyways I get a lot of inspiration from this band for my music.

Well, from all the live stuff I have, it seems like some of singles from all their albums and then just various tracks to fill the rest of the time. I've never actually seen them live (unfortunately) outside of DVDs but that will all change next year!
I don't have any live stuff of anything preSCIENCE though so I'm not sure if they play that or not.

OK, I didn't even read the posts (Sorry!), but I swear to you, I saw him at Best Buy. I was wearing an incubus shirt and he said "incubus -- great band" and I turned around and I was like "Huh?" And he's just walkin away. I was like @_______@;;;;
