Earth, one of the only planets known to sustain life, is in its prime. Recently, scientists have started to create a wormhole to other timelines that have to do with Earth... but they made a large error. See, they didn't think of what would come out of the portal... the Mauraders. Something good also came out of the portal, special beings with special powers.

Kahlen stood on top of one of the only buildings left in this new desolate wasteland people called Earth. "All this destruction... this madness, it must stop." she murmured to herself, starting to scale down.

As Shinwa walked through a recently razed camp he looked for any sing's of life. He moved gracefully among the ruble as he searcehd keeping the sounds almost non-existant he soon rested at the center of the razed area.

Hearing a faint voice calling for any life Shinwa decided to responed. "Ya I'm alive. Are you?" He looked for the source of the voice amongst all the ruble but couldn't find anything.

Kahlen's ears perked up slightly. She jumped out in front of Shinwa. "Be you a friend or a foe?" she asked, going into her battle-stance.

"Well unless if you are the cuase of this reble then you are neither to me. Though we could become frineds. Name's Shinwa, what might you'res be?" He held out his had as a formal greting in a hand shake. He woundered if she would attack him o just walk away ignoring him like the last 5 did. The wind stired as time semd to stand still for him as he was unsure if he was about to take a hit.

Kahlen grinned and took his hand, shaking it firmly. "Nice to meet you, my name is Kahlen," her brow furrowed. "Are you one of the... "special ones?". Most of the people with powers had been taken from the other world randomly, so most of them wouldn't know each other.

"Yeah, if I wasn't I'm glad I wasn't in this camp." Shaking kahlen's hand firmly as well he raised his other hand and facing it alm up he made a small fire ball. "What about you're self, got one of the uniqe qualitys?' He gave the area another quick scan to make sure they where still alone.

"Yeah..." Kahlen waved her hand and suddenly she was one with the shadows. "I have the power of the shadow... it comes in handy alot of times." she said, coming out of hiding.
"Those Mauraders have to stop torturing these humans... I don't think they deserve it..."

"I agree with you on that. Huntting them down is a pian though. Wish they would stay in one place for more than 4 hours." Streching his arms and legs Shinwa prepared to start after his sowrn foe once moe. "I have been folloing thi pak for a wek now." He motioned at th ruins as a gesture. "I think I am getting close, this morning I could se the smoke and hea the screms. I got here as fast as I could but...I was still to late. You are wlcome to join me on the hunt, moe help is always welcomed."

Looking over at Ruby "Name's Shinwa. Nice to meet you.
at least I'm not lonely anymore." Starting to head west after the group. "You are both welcome to come with me if you want. If you chose not to it's allight. I've gotten used to talking to myself." Jokingly ading before his back was to them. H travled at a somewhat slow pace so they could easyly catch up.
