OK, since nobody came up with this topic before, so here it is.

Since everbody already knows whp Dante is, I may as well go over Guts's bio.

Guts is the protaginist of Berserk, a manga by Kentaro Miura. He is known as "The Black Swordsman" due to the colour of his armor, and not to mention monstrous strength. Guts wields a giant sword known as the Dragon Slayer. He also wields a crossbow on an artificial arm made of iron, which also includes a cannon, plus throwing knives. He also has a mark on his neck known as the Brand, which bleeds when there's demons nearby. This guy is not exaclty your friendly neighborhood fellow.

Anyhow, let's see who wins.

If you have read the manga or watched the anime, you'll know that Guts gives a lot of credit to that big sword of his, and he already dealt with demons before.

However, beyond his equipment, you've told jack s**t about what Guts can do.
So it looks like "Generic "macho bad a**" with minimal experiences and a lot of luck vs Dante" to anyone but those who've read the manga or watched the anime.
My Chakan Vs Dante thread for example, had I just shown what he looked like and listed his weapons you'd probably think Chakan's just some creepy undead guy with swords, who likely wouldn't stand a chance in hell, which turns out to be just the opposite; Dante not having a chance in hell.

I have no idea who'd win. I'm leaning towards Dante because of his ability to stop time and block any striking attack but Guts is supposed to be very powerful. So I'll wait for someone to make a proper bio giving some cool and powerful feats for comparison.

Ooooh, this would be an epic battle.
Quicksilver alone simply wouldn't be enough. A mark on Gut's neck known as 'The Brand' disrupts magic in ways that haven't been specifically stated. However, so far, we've seen Guts literally just just walks through magic generated force-fields, illusions, and even entire dimensions and he doesn't even realize it because the Brand passively protects him from these things. It wasn't until he accidentally walked into a Witch's Dimension, accidentally shattering the defensive spells that surrounded the place, that we find out it's because of the Brand.

Dante fights demons, but Guts fights something on a whole 'nother level. Due to the Brand, ghosts are naturally drawn to him ALL the time. And at night, the Brand causes the dead to rise constantly. Also, unlike Devils, Guts fights Apostles. Humans who have come upon something known as a Behelit, can strike a deal with the God Hand to gain immeasurable power, I'll go into more detail about this later.
The behelit, the King stone, the Philospher's stone, God Stone. It has many names, but only one thing is really known about it. A behelit will always find it's way into the hands of the man it is destined for. It only activates when one is in a moment of deep desperation. When that happens, the God Hand appear. The God Hand transport the holder of the Behelit and everyone dear to him to a Universe made entirely of Demons, even the very ground you walk upon. In exchange for immeasurable power, the holder of the Behelit must then offer everyone he holds dear, to be food for demons. We have seen this happen three times now, and no one except Guts has ever survived.

In Terms of Strength and endurance, Dante is so horribly overwhelmed compared to Guts, it's almost laughable. Guts has fought several demons simultaneously, and consecutively, to the point where chunks of flesh on his body have been ripped off, lost entire layers of skin, and would still stand up to fight some more.
The very fact that he can swing his sword is impressive. An eight foot blade that is so huge it has commonly been described with the words, "Such a huge weapon could hardly be considered a sword. It was more like a huge flat slab of steel." It was named the 'Dragonslayer' and I quote, "It was called the Dragon because no man could wield it."
Gut's left arm is made of steel and has an automatic crossbow attacked to it. There is also a string he can pull that causes the arm to open and fire the Cannon hidden within. The Cannon's range and destructive power has been seen to be powerful enough to wipe out entire crowds of demons at once, and even finish off Apostles.

Gut's Berserk Armor. His Trump card against Dante. Something akin to Dante's Devil trigger. It makes his already monstrous strength even more fearsome, once even so much as shattering the scales of a dragon while attacking the dragon when his sword was worn and dull from having recently just fought endlessly earlier. The armor also makes him completely oblivious to pain or anything that might hinder him. Even if his limbs were to be crushed and his skull smashed in, he would continue to fight. The armor is practically alive, and when the wearer becomes injured, the armor actually digs into the wearer's flesh and forces them to keep fighting. The previous person that wore the Berserker Armor was said to have fought so hard, that when he took the armor off, all that was left of him was a skeleton.
