So the lovers of the wonderful chick, rejoice! I have seen the error of my...past bashing, and I have decided to make a thread dedicated to the cute lil' blond angel....

The 16 year old gets it bad enough. People always seem to bash her to oblivion (especially me...okay, not that much). We all say that she klutzy, annoying, weak and downright naive. True, all of those do make sense.

But still...

Put yourselves in Colette's position. Do you actually think YOU could've acted that brave? Not sheading a tear? Not running away, like most of the people in Symphonia (i.e: Zelos, Shihna, Kratos).

I doubt any of you could have been brave, like she was. Okay, maybe some of you could. And some just have a death wish. But we should cut the girl some slack. Or at least I will.

I guess she wanted to keep her friends along with her, maybe that's why she kept apologizing. -shrugs- I don't really know, I didn't like paying attention to her backstory. I know it though...but I just pay attention to Zelos more.

Aww... Collete is so adorable! I was never the one to hate a female character (like Zelda, Kairi, Aeris, or Tifa). Collete may not be my favorite unlike the other girls but I do keep her in my team and like having her around. In some sort of way, I do find her kind of cool how she went through all that stuff without qiving up.... I have no idea what I'm trying to say here sweatdrop .

3nodding Yes really, I can only think of one main female I hated and that was Samus. Yes, you read right. But that was only because of a lot people saying that she was the ONLY good female character in SSB:M. But after a while, I started likeing her for some reason (I think it was the Zelda/Samus fanfictions).

Um... on topic now. Collete's great. I did find her trials interesting. I mean not being able to feel anything at all. Like that scene with the coffe and Lloyd. I liked that part. Yeah... I think I like when good characters suffer in a way sweatdrop . It gives them more depth that way.

What? Samus? Man, she was the first Femal heroine I really liked. And she's pretty. At least she's not a butch! I wonder... Samus vs. Kos-Mos vs Motoko Kusanagi. Who would win...
...I think she's the only female character in SSBM that I would use. Wait...I use Zelda sometimes. ^^ Zelda/Samus!

Oh yeah, back on topic. I liked when she couldn't dream/sleep. I think I cried during one part of her trials. No, not like crying crying crying crying . More like sad .

That part with the no sleeping kind of sucked (as in it scucks to be you kind of thing) but I did strangley like that part. Man... we sound both evil sweatdrop . I was mad about her loosing her voice and the whole part where she was like some kind of doll thing with red eyes. She seemed kind of evil there.

Yes, Samus is pretty and THANK GOD THEY GAVE HER NO SUIT in the new game so we won't have to hear people say "Samus is a GIRL?!" anymore. No... wait, nevermind. We will still hear it. I just didn't like hearing "Zelda sucks. I only use Shiek." Or "Samus is the only good girl up there beacuse Zelda's so weak" over and over again. Hmm... I wounder if I'm the only one that can pwn like crazy with Zelda. It is not funny how many macthes I can win with just using her. I'm starting to use Shiek too (who's attacks are actaully weaker but qicker then Zelda's). I like her veriaty (sp?). Is she going to be in the next game? I think I should make a thread on SSB before this paragraph gets too big.

The emotionless Collet was the best one, in my opinion. She was uber kick a**, especially when she did 'Sacrifice' and said nothing. NOTHING.

Um... ok. Thjanks! I only did Sacrifice on the second time I played the game and by that time, it was so pointless since Raine is ALWAYS on my team. So you know where I'm going on this one.

more because she is not so loud and not so

I asked almost the very same question on a Tales of fanboard. Personally, I like Colette. She is just too nice to hate. Those who hate those who are nice have serious issues. Being alittle bothered by it is fine though.
Anyways, as for the results of the same question I once asked. The worst one I recieved was this:

And that gets obnoxious. Namely on your first play-through.

Also, half-the-game, she isn't on your party.

A neutral response I got was "Because her English voice acting sucks." Apparently, everyone else hears something I can't. The JPN and EGL voice acting sounds just fine to me.

And the best reason to hate Colette I ever got was "I just do."

That picture, is awesome!

Colette is teh strongest character in the game, if you ask me. She never lets anything get to her, and shes best summed up in her skit with Presea,
"Smile and Forgive"

Colette's voice sounds fine to me. The Japanese one sounds like Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh, but that's just me, I guess. I love her!!! Awesome character!! I just, don't put her in my party. That's because I don't want her ending for the 5th time in a row. Btw, that picture of Colette on the first post is cute.

i turned her sacrifice off she always used it so I am like grr thats it.
