A vast chamber, the Great Hall contains five tables, one for each of the four houses and one for the staff, the High Table. There are a pair of doors behind this final table, one to the grounds and one to a small antechamber. However, most students enter it through the large double doors in the Entrance Hall. The ceiling is enchanted to reflect the weather outdoors, sometimes with frightening results.

All three meals are held here everyday and students are expected to not be late. At the beginning of each year, the sorting ceremony takes place here and first year students are sorted into the four houses.

Weather: sunny with scattered clouds

The doors to the Great Hall were pushed open with one shoulder, the other sporting a rather heavy, beat up looking book bag. Nyx entered the hall, surprisingly with out her bowler. The fourth year had her brown waves tied up in a easy pony tail in the back, allowing some bangs to fall down around her face. Strangely enough, when she tied her hair up like that she looked more like a girl than her normal boyish self.

She lowered her bag onto the Gryffindor table and sighed, rubbing her temples of exhaustion. Damned caretaker, detion for a week and carying rocks around in her book bag. Bloody. Hell. What kind of valid punishment was that?

Nyx dug about her bag and fished out her tie, that she unceramoniously slung around her neck and did not tie. The collar opened flat against her collarbone, having the top button undone for comfort. She had no idea that she was showing off possibly the biggest, darkest hickey known to man. When she glanced up to say good morning to her little first years, she noticed that the whole table was kind of looking at her funny.

"Wha'?" The entire group shook their heads and looked down at their food. Who the hell would be stupid enough to point out that Nyx Treassa, girl of steel, who had bets placed on what boy could tame her, who punched like a freaking boxer, that she had a monster of a hickey on her neck? She looked around in confusion before shrugging. It probably wasn't her deal. They couldn't have known what she was up to last night. The lightbulb went on in Nyx's head, and she turned around to look at the Ravenclaw table.

Where was she...?

Lucius was already inside the great hall, sitting in his place. He looks down the Gryffindor table, and... oh, dear. He manages to contain his laughter, as he excuses himself, and walks down towards the girl with a hickey in plain sight. He leans over, and wispers in her ear. "I think they're staring at the hickey on your neck...?" He pats her shoulder before heading back to his spot, still trying to contain himself.

Rain softly kicked her fellow teacher under the table. "Now all her friends are going to think that you gave it to her Lucius." She slowly picked at the food on her plate taking small bites every once in a while. "It'll make all the students think I'm stupid and you're a ho." She took a large bite grinning and giggling to herself.

At the word 'ho', he looks over at Malfoy, beifly, loathingly and, at the same time, mockingly. "Ooooh... crap, you might be right..." He scratches his head, chuckling. He sighs, and starts to eat. "It's still kinda funny, though..." He speaks between mouthfuls. "Besides, *someone* had to tell her. Though, if they're gonna think someone's a ho, it should be Malfoy."

Draco glanced up from spreading jam on his toast in time to catch Hiryuu giving him a nasty look. He winked at him as he bit into it. He set it back down on his plate, patted at his lips with a napkin and stood. He walked purposefully down the table several place until he came to stand behind Alair. "What was that charming spell you used on your neck when I was a bit, well, careless?"

Nyx blinked slowly and touched her neck, remembering that as the exact spot where Isis had... A pleasant shiver went up the tall girl's back. Oh yeah, she would definately need to do that again. Well, Nyx being ever the modest girl that she was looked over her shoulder to her table and winked.

"Ya'll know me be'er than tha!" She pointed at the hickey apparent on her neck and grinned. "Don' be 'fraid teh let yer minds wander though. I know wha' really happened an tha's what matters." The Gryffindor offered a coy grin before turning back around and looking down the Ravenclaw table. Damnitall... Not a good time teh get her attention, I guess... Nyx sighed, slumping against the table top in defeat.

"D-... did he just-...?" He gives Malfoy an astonished and disgusted look. "N-no, Malfoy, just, just, no! Never. Again!" He runs his hand through his hair, with an accompanying "Aaaaaahg!" He wasn't being very loud through all this. He had just shrugged that off when he overhears Nyx. "Augh... God..." He just kinda slumps back. "That was unexpected..." After a moment of calming down, and eating a little more, he speaks again. "Wow, and school hasn't even *really* started yet..."

Alair looked up at Draco, trying to remember exactally which moment he ment. Though the blonde didn't like to admit it, he was 'careless' on more then one occasion, but Alair decided not to bring that up. "I think it was amoveo frendo, and I do beleive that poor girl needs it."
Kiri had been sitting next to Alair and decided to butt in. "Which one, the desheviled Gryffindor? I applaude the man that gave her that. Or woman for that matter." The hip-looking teacher grinned and licked her lips at the thought.
"Bad Kiri, how many times do I have to tell you NOT to hit on students!" Alair growled at his sister, who pouted in responce.
"It's not my fault you're the one getting all the action, your poor older sister has no one to satisfy her woman desire!" She exclaimed melo-dramaticly.
Alair blushed but didn't argue the fact.

Draco groaned. Alair's sister had been a nightmare from the beginning. They simply did not see eye to eye. He was going to get a "bad Draco!" in a moment after Alair saw what he was about to do. He kissed the man on the cheek. "And a good morning to you, too," he said. "You get far too much action. You don't appreciate it," he whispered into Alair's ear before turning and walking down to Gryffindor table. Luckily, the girl had some space around her and he sat down next to her. He pulled his wand out of his pocket and pressed its tip to the hickey. "Amoveo frendo," he said and watched it quickly fade away. He leaned forward and sucked gently on her earlobe before whispering into her ear, "Miss Treassa, in future, make-up or magic so you don't cause such a fuss at the breakfast table. Thank you." He stood and sauntered back to the High Table. I do believe it's going to be a good day. He took the opportunity to run a hand through Hiryuu's hair on the way back to his own seat, always amused by his responses.

Even though Draco had done it thousands of time, it still made Alair blush when Draco kissed him. What made it really burn was the comment after it though. However, in the moments later when he saw Draco get too close to comfort by the Gryffindor girl, the hairs on the back of his back bristled. Kiri on the other hand found it rather amusing.
"HA, you see that? I'm not the only one who flirts with students!" The elder woman stated triumphantly. Alair sent her a death glare before slouching in his seat.
"Why can't people understand the meaning of the word 'pedifile'?" He grumbled to no one in particular. The poor brunette also had to watch what was supose to be his blonde beauty flirt with one of the straight teachers, making a spike of jelousey shoot threw him for a second time.
As if reading his thoughts, Kiri pated her brother on the head. "There there dear Alair, what your man said was true however. You do get an aweful lot of action, which is saying something being that this is an imfamous Malfoy we're talking about."
Alair continued to mope none the less. This was not going to be a good day for the young nurse.

Lucius twitches as Malfoy 'flirts' with him. "Malfoy, you do anything like that to me again and I'll send Quartz to bite your nuts." Lucius glowers at him.

Renee Sharp sat quietly at the end seat of the Slytherin table, making almost no noise at all, unless you could hear her quietly humming the song 'Cell Block Tango' from the muggle musical Chicago. It was one of her favorite, given her slight obsession with them. She picked at her food with her fork, taking rare small bites. She never had much of an appitite. While she did so, she surveyed the rest of the student through the loose blood red bangs that rested in front of her eyes. They were bustling about. As were the teachers, which was rather strange as they did not normally do so. Shrugging to herself, she returned to her food and running through all the songs in Chicago in her mind.

Domini Vida sat a few seats down the table from Draco, next to Kiri. She watched the events with some amusement, though decided to keep herself out of involvement. She always had to insert her thoughts into other people's conversations, a habit she was trying to break, and was actually doing rather well. Shaking her head and laughing a bit, she turned back to her meal and took a few bites, before looking up and around at the new and old students.

HOLY s**t! The color drained from Nyx's usually olive complexion, leaving a few freckles on the bridge of her nose rather visable. TEACHER IS ON MY EARLOBE! Ewwwww... The Gryffindor stuck her tongue out in obvious distaste, not exactly sure how to react to that.

"I din't even know it was theeerrre." She grumbled, shaking her head in disgust and wiping off her ear. A few of the Gryffindors at her table chuckled at her as Draco left. "Wha' a wonde'ful mornin'...."

"Oh, Malfoy, look what you did to the poor girl! God! Alair, you need to control him..." Lucius huffs.
