I don't know about you, but I wonder whether the animals that I think depict me and my friends are compatible. So why not have a thread where people can describe deamons, or at least say the animals, and others can comment on whether they are compatible?
Ok, let me go first, what do you think of a gray Owl and a Beaver?

Ok, let me go first, what do you think of a gray Owl and a Beaver? The owl seems compatible. The beaver seems alright as well with the strong meaning, just I don't know how fast it would be able to go on it's own. That's one thing i'm not sure about is how big daemons can get. I know the snow lepards is a decent size animal, but most of the animals in the book were smaller, and were carried around or flew. Did I miss a big daemon?

I think there was no limitation on the daemons of any kind, they could be pretty much any animal including water based ones o.O As for compatibility issues, you wouldn't think a monkey and a leopard are compatible, now would you? blaugh

Wonder if you'd have to keep your fish in a bowl...I mean, that'd be making it easy for your daemon to commit suicide, just transform into a fish while away from water and...oooooh, my life at threat any time I make my daemon angry!!!!!!! XD

Daemons don't sound very prone to suicide... but I think there was mention of someone with a water based daemon who had to live near the sea in the books...

I think a sailor had a dolphin, or an otter or something.
I wonder if one could have a dragon daemon? Or a unicorn? Or even a plain horse, for that matter!

Horse probably, but I didn't notice anything unrealistic between the deamons...what about extinc animals? Like dodo? And what about Killer whales?

Kalile Alako I think a sailor had a dolphin, or an otter or something. I think was either a dolphin or a seagull.

What about a bacteria? That would be even worse I mean, you go something like: hey let's talk...ahem...hello?
But to tell you the truth, I think that most of the daemons were small because of one of the main characteristics of us humans:we travel a lot and try to get in all kinds of places, and something big as an elephant is simply not capable of that.
...
imagine I got a spider for a daemon
