Okay I just wrote this today when I got booted of the computer by big mean abnoxios(sp) brother. so I went out side and here in Texas it is a BEAUTIFUL day so I wrote a little light hearted poem about it.
Birds sing their sweet song
It lasts for so long
flowers smell real nice
This adds to the spice
The sky reaches high
Ivory clouds float right by
The color is blue
A relaxed, content hue
Grass as is seen
A delectable green
The world all around
Has a wonderful sheen
As I sit in this chair
Gently rocked by the wind
I absorb everything
This day is my friend.
I know a few parts of it are kinda corny and its not like deep or any thing but I sorta like it and wanted to post it.<^_^>

I like it. Cute, no offense. But nice poems don't have to be deep.
P.S. I understand the Obnoxious brother thing. . .I have four, one younger, three older.

I have an annoying little brother..and an annoying older brother.. haha..
Anyways, nice poem... nothing has to be deep... symbolism is just an excuse that english teachers make to have EVERYTHING have a meaning.. ugh. That's my opinion anyway.
But yeah.. nice poem.. leaves you with a happy feeling!

I like to read poems that leave me feeling happy sometimes, instead of depressed or thoughtful. This poem had great description, and I liked the rhymes. It was fun to read.
And yeah, I have two brothers, I know what you mean too. wink
|
