Zingy lay quietly under a small, disfigured tree he'd found only a few minutes ago, shaded only slightly by the tiny thing's crumpled leaves, but still shaded enough to feel like he was getting at least a little bit of rest away from the boiling heat. Stupid sun he cursed in his head, sticking out his toungue at it, and using his long tail to blow air across his body, even if it was only a few degrees cooler than the rest of the air around him. He could feel little flie landing on him, and every once in a while, one would bite him, and he'd swing around, growl, and nibble at his flank, but other than that, the savannah was incredibly quiet this afternoon.

Padding around with grace was Siria. The black and green female maned wolf had no problems with the sun, even though her dark fur only increased the heat of the sun. It was strange for the female seemed to prefer the heat rather than the cold. With her tail swinging back and forth with her movements she noticed Zingy but paid no attention to him at all. Instead she kept on walking, walking right on by

He watched as a green and black female padded straight past him, not feeling like moving, and he closed his eyes. Wait a minute, a green and black female? His eyes flew open with excitement. He thought that the female he was seeing was Saa, and that he would get to spend some mroe time with her today, and was disappointed to see that it was not Saa, but another female, that he didn't know.

Her ears fluttered at the sound of some movement, even if it was only his eyelids. A smirk crossed her features as she stopped walking. Standing there she waited to see if he was going to do anything, if not she would most likely continue walking and pehaps end up circling around.

Zingy was mildly upset that this female wasn't the lovely Saa, but it didn't matter. Company was company. Grinning stupidly, he padded towards the female, calling out a small hello and then stopping a fair distance from her, and reclining to his haunches, letting his tongue hang out, to cool himself. Wagging his tail a little, the oddly marked wolf stared at the green and black female, wondering if she was hot in the sun...all that black must be awful for attracting heat.

Siria then stopped moving since she had started again, when he called out a greeting but did not turn around for a few moments. "Hello there." She spoke in a calm cool monotone voice. Then she turned facing him still letting her tail brush against the ground bringing some dust up around her.
When the dust settled down she watched him before saying "I am Siria'Chunuka and you are?"

"Zingatia, Zingy, Zing...." He said, trailing off and grinning again, standing up and padding closer to her, before sitting down again, throwing a glance over his shoulder in a slightly paranoid fashion. "You must be hot..." He said quietly, giggling a little at his own words, then stopping and looking at her, quirking a brow slowly and laying his ears down, causing him to look incredibly silly. "I mean...with all that black. I'm lucky, cause I'm white." He said, rattling on some more about his white coat, and the small black markings, which made the heat uneven on his body sometimes, but how it didn't really mater because the white made it all better most of the time. He stopped talking and then stared at her again, cocking his head and perking his ears back up.

"I would say it is a pleasure to meet you but I am not yet sure that it is, or will be a pleasure." Siria then replied to him after he stated his name. She understood his words and also knew what confusion could be caused from it but she didn't show any signs of noticing it. "Actually I am not hot, the heat doesn't really affect me, even if my fur is black."
Pausing she continued "I prefer the heat, you may think I am weird and perhaps I am but I am me and there is nothing that will change that."

"Weird...sure. I'm weird. Bet you didn't know that." He said, flicking his tail and glancing over his shoulder again, wagging his tail and grinning stupidly. Turning back to Siria, he chuckled. "You like the heat? You must be crazier than me." He giggled, laying his ears back, then perking them forward a moment later, grinning again, then standing and trotting in a circle around her. "How about a drink?" He asked, padding off towards the waterhole that he knew was around here somewhere.

"Jugding by your appearance that was my first thought." Though there was no humor in her tone she didn't meant it, it was simply a joke even if the other could not tell that it was. "The heat is my compainion. Crazy? Perhaps so."
Then she watched him circle her before following him. "Why not"
