The Ivy Hollow

The windows pour out welcoming light and warmth as you approach the large building. It?s an inn, but it looks more like a mansion or a castle judging by its size. The stable almost equals it in area and friendly stablehands stand at the entrance, waiting to take your horse in where it is warm and dry. You are waved towards the entrance to the inn, assured that your horse will be well taken care of.

As you enter the inn, you are met with a wave of cheery chatter and the sweet smell of ale. The innkeeper beams brightly at you over the tall reception desk, his moustache twitching in the process. He gestures towards another door and says something about food and drink, but most of his speech is lost in the chatter.

The door leads to a massive dining room. Tables are aplenty and so are the chairs. Barmaids flit to and from various tables and the bar, taking orders and delivering them. Groups of people huddle over tables betting on various card games and such. Gold glints on tables as hopeful eyes watch dice clatter to a halt on wood surface.

So take a seat, or join a table, the Ivy Hollow has something for everyone. Or ask for a room to rest for the night. The Ivy Hollow renders all equal and here?the world is your oyster.

Staff and NPCs

These are the staff that work at the Ivy Hollow. You may play them as you wish until someone fills the positions. Until then, they will be considered NPCs. If you wish to be considered for one of these roles, please PM me your request, why you wish to play that role and a brief bio of your character (like the one I've written for Jaina).

Owner/Boss:
Jaina (Elenyae) - The owner of the Ivy Hollow is rarely seen. A burly woman with a head for numbers, she is usually in her office sorting out her accounts. However, should any problems arise, she will be there to fix it, ensuring that the Ivy Hollow remains a legal place for all kinds of people to gather.

Gordon & Gabrielle (--) - Are twins and shall therefore be played by the same person.

Jeremiah (Thanatos Aurion) - Jeremiah does not like to be amidst large groups of people all talking at once. He finds it a little hard to concentrate on anything with all that noise. This is the reason he takes up this job and holds pride in what he does. Sure it can be a little lonely at times, but at other times many people come just to chat with him in the stables. And when no one comes for a quick visit, Jeremiah has his fellow stablehand Bob to talk with, though most of the time they are buisy at work and don't have much time for small-talk. At any rate, Jeremiah's job pays well and he gets to speak with everyone that comes to the Inn with catle they need taken care of when they leave it here.
