Well, the guild's birthday is fast approaching! (We are celebrating the CREATION date, not the open-to-the-public-date. 4laugh )Around this time last year, Mike, Memai, the departed Tatiana and myself started work on what would become TEH Queen guild of Gaia.

Hey there, Mike. I have a proposition for you, as I hinted in the title.
Would you be interested in making a Queen guild with me?
I know that there currently is one, but it's become completely over run with n00bs, newbs and crazy fangirls who can't spell correctly. *laughs* In truth, the guild and the thread are both pretty...disgraceful. ThinLizzy put a nice effort into it, but she just doesn't have the knack for running the guild. I really don't think her heart is in it, either. (She says she's selective as to who she let's join, but she's let in people who don't even know the names of the band members! cry )
I was thinking that we could make one that is more exclusive and better kept. Only the knowledgeable Queen-loving Gaians would be in on it. (The one's who have good thoughts, can get into a good discussion, really know what they're talking about...) Some of the people on the Official Queen thread were great to talk to, but were scared off from the official guild when it became overpopulated.
Of course, if you're interested, I would be more then happy to split the cost of the guild creation with you. I'm asking you to help because I honestly don't think I have it in me to run it by myself. I'm also not nearly as knowledgeable when it comes to dates, albums and production information. We'd make a good team, though. I've got a lot of pictures and a lot of info on the band members. Also, summer is here, and with school out of the way, I'll be able to keep a watchful eye on it, even if you can't.
Please don't cast this concept aside if at first you're not so interested. I really think we could make it work. biggrin

So! In honor of this great occasion, I think we should hold some sort of... celebration-esque events. xd Maybe we could have... a ball? I could see all of us dressing up nice and converting one of the sub-forums into a temporary dance floor. whee Or maybe a costume party where everyone has to dress up as a character from a Queen song? Hahahaha! Well, feel free to throw out ideas-- any old ideas are fine! This is everyone's celebration and we should have as much fun as possible. wink heart
