I know, 224 has already been out in Japan for ages. So please, do not get on my case for posting this. Thanks. I just felt it was appropriate to do this here, since for one it is a Yami no Yuugi guild right? And I'm trying to redeem myself for not posting... even though the RP kinda croaked here. And my Pride shrine died too... I had a good final Pride scene too. That's not the point. *Coughs*
I mean I'm already depressed, and I've seen 224 in raw once. Never again. I cried just as soon as his life points hit 0. And tomorrow at 11:30 am Eastern time, is the episode I've been dreading yet wanting to see since the Ancient Egypt arc began. Once 220 aired.... that sealed it. It was happening.
I just hope this is not a repeat thread, and I am not going to ask what we like about Yami since that's been done. And I don't want this deleted at least not until we get tired of it, or all say our peace.
For now I'll let you all say a few words while I'm trying to get myself together. I know he still exists in Fanfictions and RPGs and such, so he's not gone forever. But in the series, he is.

Why did he have to go? I saw it today and I said " What they call that a finaly?" We will never be the same without him even if he is in Fanfiction and stuff. I was this way when my First Favorite Character was not gong to be any more so I have expirenced it before. We will miss you Atemu crying

I have dreaded this day since I heard of it's ending almost a year back and I am sorrow stricken... I also started to cry when he lost this battle and I cried last night when I was thinking of this episode! Let Yami's memory live on in the hearts of the many, who spent their years drooling over him, obsessing over him and so on... Good-bye.... Yami Atemu
He will remain in my heart for as long as this world exists... Yugioh was the thing that gave me the passion to write and what brought me into the world of anime and... even prideshipping... yaoi and sorts!

It doesn't matter how many times I see episode 224, it just doesn't get any easier. crying
I was absolutely beside myself when I found out how the series was going to end. Thinking on it, I decided that it really is a fitting end to the series, and that although it doesn't seem it, Atemu really does get his happy ending by being able to finally move on. But it's hard to look at it as happy, especially from the prospective of his friends and all the fans that love him.
But Yami no Yuugi will live on forever in all of our hearts, and especially in Yuugi's heart. heart heart heart
And, I don't mean to ruin the somber mood, but I just want to say I'm not the least bit happy with the way 4kids handled the episode. So far I've seen it raw, then subtitled and now dubbed. And well, I know the dub isn't exactly amazing anyway, but they cut out the entire end of the episode! How could they do that to me when I was upset enough already? .____.

I think I've calmed down enough now to say my peace. I know that Atem would be missed by all, even Seto who didn't really seem to care that he lost. But somehow he did.
I'm not saying that totally as a Prideshipper, but the other part of me is thinking that as one. I just wanted one last Prideshipping moment, although that did happen in 222 I think. But 220, no... they cut out when Yami said Kaiba and they walked out.
*Coughs* Anyway, I'll miss Atem. He was and still is my favorite YGO character. It would have been nice if everyone could have at least said their feelings toward him before he left. I still miss him. I know he's only a drawing on paper, but that doesn't mean that us fans can't love him.

im sorry if this sounds rude or anything, but you guys are PATHETIC!!!!!! you cried during it? i came closer to crying when Yugi almost died in season 1 then i did seing Yami go! i didn't even get the "this is sad" feeling in my stomach that comes with almost all depressing stuff i watch/imagine!!! and i always thought the ending was lacking in some way. i already disliked 4kids for things they did in other animes, but they cut off the entire end of the episode! can yall tell me where you saw it raw?

*twitchs at the name-calling* well....for onething...i didn't see the 1st 1st season...and Yami was a big character in teh serise....I wasn't just crying the fact the Yami was leaving.... crying i was also crying the fact the the Yugioh season was over....never to come on again gonk crying crying crying crying crying Don't ask about GX...i'm not a fan of that stare

"1st 1st season"? dude, i was talking about the first DUB season. y'know in the duel against Pegasus where Yugi seems to have died. anywho, Yugi was probably a bigger character than Yami. Yugi carried the Pharoah around and stuff and he had to let him go! so cry over the fact that they shall never live happily ever after together. or that they didnt make out like many wanted them too at the final moment. I JUST WANTED ONE LITTLE KISS 4KIDS!!!!!!

I didn't cry during that part. Call me cold hearted but I didn't. Maybe the first time when I saw it I was like 'Poor Yuugi' but I didn't cry. I felt maybe a few tears, but that's it.
I cried during 220. Why? Reasons that only I know, and not everyone will understand. I cried during 180 when Seto lost his soul. I cried when Yami went semi-psychotic when he played the Orichalcos. I cried when Yami lost Yuugi, but not because I like them together.
But please, do not call us pathetic. I cried during 224 not only because Yami left. Yes, I am a major Yami fangirl and I am not afraid to admit it. I am not pathetic.

okay, ya'll arent pathetic. i guess im just weird. i dont cry for t.v. (movies maybe...) i just get excited and then i get the nice funky feeling in my stomach. and i didnt get it when seto lost his soul. only when yugi was affected. cause yugi is da shiz!!!!
