Basically I was wondering how many people have actually preformed rituals and what the outcome was, both intended and actuality.

There was a no on the poll, but I guess I am still not very good at creating a poll.

Yes I have, with much success. Anything from simpe luck spells to evocation and weather manipulation.

I myself have never tried any forms of satanic rituals, but my ex has.. I'm not sure if they were a success, though.

All I have done are a few simple Wiccan/Pagan based spells.

I have, and I have seen both dramatic and moderate success--as well as failure. The only time a ritual has failed for me is when my mood was ruined by a silly roomate running in with a camera and taking video of me at my make-shift altar using what I could drag to my apartment from home. It was quite silly.

If you are in posession of The Satanic Rituals, my absolute most favorite ceremonial ritual is the Statement of Shaitan. I would suggest that one for a first. It's basic enough to slip into for the first time practitioner, and the reading is intensely powerful as far as emotions are concerned. I performed said ceremony with explaination for a group of assorted pagans on Walpurgisnacht. They thought it to be impressive.

My best suggestion to you is, if you are a first time practitioner, observe as many of the recommended elements that The Doctor suggests as possible, but don't fret too much if you're missing something--replacements will do. Find a nice quiet place, where you will not be disturbed, and where you will not disturb anyone else, and perform. It really does feel wonderful--even if it's not a lust ritual. twisted You can't really determine what effect a ritual will have, unfortunately. You can certainly make guesses, but you cannot control it entirely, as it does somewhat depend on the recipient of the magic. It also largely depends on your own level of intensity.

I'm always available for questions anyone might have concerning atheistic Satanic ritual.

I have completed my first ritual, but have yet to see results from the recipiant, but it did help with my feelings, so I don't know whether to call that sucess or failure.

I have worked many kinds of rituals, however I find that Satanic ones feel the best because of the catharsis. After the ritual I feel more relaxed and I can get my mind off the problem. I usually get the results I want, but even if I don't, I tend to feel better after I perform the ritual.

The rituals that I find most effective, though are based on Basque rituals, and Celtic ones. However, these are hard to perform. I feel at peace after the ritual, but my mind is still on the problem. I guess I choose which one based on the mood I am in and wether I am in an active or receptive mood. Active moods make me want to perform Satanic rituals, receptive moods make me want to do Basque and Celtic ones.

Sometimes I mix the rituals though, and those are the greatest in my opinion. But do what you are comfortable with. If you are comfortable with something it will probably have more of a chance of working.

I've always wanted to try one, after reading the Bible a few time. I saw some examples but unfortunately, I lack many objects necessary for many rituals. Not to mention I have never done anything of the such before, and I wouldn't want to get injured or killed somehow if I mess up something.. confused I'm probably worrying for nothing.

I'll keep reading the topics here and get more information.

The items listed in TSB are guidelines to ritual props--not so much absolutely strict rules. You can replace objects, add objects, and remove objects all you like. You won't injur or kill yourself unless you happen to be working with a dangerous prop--like fire, or a blade. As long as you know how not to set yourself ablaze and how not to impale yourself, you won't injur or kill yourself.

My first ritual consisted of a few different multicoloured candles I had around the house, an old sword I bought when I was 12, TSB, a box, and a black towel.

Nonetheless, it was effective psychodrama. You want to work with your altar to make it as aesthetically pleasing to yourself as you can. As long as you are able to amplify your emotions enough to bring yourself to tears, or immense anger, or uproarious laughter, etc etc... You've already got all you'll ever need for a successful ritual--aside from the feel. The feel of the ritual is up to you, but LaVey's guidelines work wonders.

So basically, I could use any item that resembles the commonly used ones, as long as I truly put emotions in my rituals.
Thanks. I guess I can try an easy one - Once my mother's out of the house..

I have used destruction rituals before to great effect, and many a time I have indulged in the misery it has brought my victim, even simple curses tend to often work for me.

I've only done 2 rituals before, both I saw results from.
I plan on doing many more in the future.
