Mistranslations are so common in texts being turned into English... Some minor, like how the Book of Revelation is called the Book of Revelations, but then there are other major ones that end up massively impacting ultures, like how 666 is actually a mistranslation of 616. ... Well, it was relatively recently found that many times 616 was mistranslated as 666, but there are two theories as to why. One is simple and just says that 616 is the actual number of the beast, the other goes on about how 616 and 666 are supposed to be the same number written in two different forms, both being used in a form of numerical ode for Nero Ceasar.
Anyway... There are so many possibly mistranslated quotes in English translations of the Bible, Torah, and Quran... And then you have to onsider how the one translating it likely puts some of their own views in by telling you the tale how they themselves interpret it.
... Well, that's the abrupt end. I suppose it doesn't give you very much to work with, but for some reason I keep thinking about it right now. And sine the 666 actually being 616 thing is so oddly unknown, I figured it may be appreciated information here.

The 666 is talked about in my religion too. Okay James, this is hard to explain and I need supermom to help with this. I may say something that isn't exactly true. It stands for a beast that defeats this symbolic woman. This woman is the typical money craving, sexual craving, liar, and alcoholic lady that is represented as Babylon. You do remember the destruction of Babylon, right? Well yeah, there you go. Questions?
