Alright, I spent the past week searching online stores and asking around and here is the information I discovered.

User Image
I stole that pic from the art thread in this same guild. I did so in effort to help everyone here, but if there are complaints, I will gladly take it down.

Now, onto the info:

1) The above pic is the cover of the soundtrack. It is called Morning Glory and has only four tracks. It can be purchased online at: JpopHelp.com.

I have not purchased from there before so I cannot vouch for its reliability. Still, that was the only place I could find that even sold the CD. It is listed at the bottom of the page.

2) There are an additional 3 CDs called Princess Tutu Konzert. They were the bonus items that came with the Special Editions of the first 3 Princess Tutu DVDs out in Japan. As such, they cannot be found being sold by themselves. I could not find the SE DVDs at all, but Yahoo Japan was were I was directed to look. The Princess Tutu Konzert CDs have a total of 70 tracks, consisting of the music heard in the series.

Additionally, the Princess Tutu Konzert CDs can be found at Box Torrents but be aware of the fact that this torrent has been up for quite a while now, so the amount of seeds vary and the download speed is usually pathetic. If you are lucky, you might be able to get it there.

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS biggrin . I've wanted to know more about the soundtrack, but I never did the research myself.

It's disappointing though that the Konzert CD's are so hard to find. Yeah, it's great for the Japanese consumers when extras come with the DVDs and such, but for the rest of us... *sighs*

I'm going to try that Torrent anyway >>;;. Wish me luck.

EDIT

Apparently, the Torrent is pretty active! The download finished for me within a day; which I consider good for inactive Torrents ^^;.

You need to have some sort of torrenting software to use the Box Torrent download. I use Bittornado, my friend uses Azerus. Once you have that installed, when you click on the torrent link, it will ask you where you want to download the files to. Once you pick your spot and hit ok, a window comes up that shows your download status. You can adjust how much you want to upload, and the more space you give to uploads, the faster your downloads will be. Basically, the people uploading the file are seeds, and the ones downloading are leeches. As you download, you will also be uploading for those who have do not have as much of the file as you, which is why it is common courtesy to leave the torrent up for a while even after you've finished, to help all those still needing the file.

heart Tutu music! So much easier than trying to find all the songs individually on different cds... And it was fun listening to the music itself and thinking "Wow, this was when Rue was dancing that one time, or when Drosselmeyer's talking or whatnot...

I think I started the torrent around 3:30 or 4 and it finished at 11. At least it was faster than the actual Tutu episodes! gonk sweatdrop

xd You're right! It did load faster than the episodes did, if I remember correctly. It's been awhile. Then again, I think I got them all in one big bunch at once, so of course it took longer for the episodes to load for me... it was a MUCH bigger clump of files xD;;.

Question--

In regards to the non-original classical music in the series--

Do they give the original musicians credit in the CD? A few of my family members were a bit disappointed at the musicians never being mentioned in the series. (Unless we all completely missed it in the credits ~_~.)
