Not quite sure how many people here watch the dub, but the last dub episode has aired. I got teary eyed. gonk Even if I know what they changed, it's still sad to know that it's ended here. It ended in Japan about 2 years ago (give or take a year), but it ending here seems... more final I guess, even though that makes no sense whatsoever.
So, what are everyone's thoughts on the ending of YGO? Did you watch the dub, sub, or both?
Looking forward to Capsule Monsters (done by 4Kids, if I remember correctly)?
Are you going to watch CapMon? (I will, just to laugh at it.)
And anything else you'd care to discuss~.

I haven't seen the last episode yet, since I don't get the channel, so I get the DVD's, so it isn't over for me yet, but since the last episode has aired, it's just a matter of time before it's a DVD, it's so sad that it's almost over! crying crying But, I will make sure that I will collect ALL the Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD's and watch them all the time! *gets in dramatic pose of triumph* I've got the Capsule Monsters Movie, and I believe they'll make a sequel, 'cause they end it right in the middle of the adventure, can you believe that?! stressed

It's so sad... when I finished watching the episode I thought to myself "Why?!? crying " But... on a happier note for me... The Canadian channel, YTV is still only halfway through the Egyptian arc... so I could watch that... then have it all end on me again, then I'll finally realize that it's all over. T.T

I started to get teary eyed during the last episode too. For me it still doesn't feel like it's ended. I might buy the Japanese DVDs just to see what they changed. I've only seen about 6 uncut episodes (available in the states on DVD). I know they took out some stuff in the last episode because I've seen a screenshot of it. I thought they ended it a bit quick for my tastes, but I still liked it. They're going to have Capsule Monsters here!? I've heard tidbits about it but I wasn't sure what was going on. I wonder when it will air. I think I might've seen a small video clip of it XD

They took out the very, very end. gonk When Yuugi says something along the lines of "This wasn't the story of a great Pharaoh, it was... and our story's just beginning." Obviously, I forgot a lot of the quote, but I remember getting ready to cry just after reading it.
There was also a part in the credits when it showed all the other duelists dueling each other in various places, and when Yuugi-tachi got home. That was kind of sad, though, because everyone had someone to welcome them back except Ryou. crying So my friend and I said we were the ones who welcomed him back. You just can't see us, because we're ninja like that. ninja
I thought they were going to show Capsule Monsters here. They might've changed their minds, though. I hope not. :[

Well, I saw the end of the series in the MIDDLE of the series because I downloaded it in japanese and also read some scanslations!
It was suuuu saddddennningggg!!

I remember telling myself that I should wait for the dub ending. That lasted for a few months, then I finally broke down and started trying to find screenshots and summaries. I nearly cried from just looking at those. gonk
...I had an empty feeling when I realized there was no YGO on today. cry
